I am a Cotto fan, and let me say that the Cotto I saw tonite would get picked apart by Pacman. Yeah he had a cut on his eye but I did not see the Cotto who Stood toe to toe with SSM or the Cotto who made Judah quit or even the Cotto who for the first six rounds made Margarito look like an amateur. But all said and done if the fight with Pac gets made I will back Cotto 100%.

I think Clottey's defensive style had a lot to do with what you are sying. Any Boxer out there would not look good against Clottey.

Based on how Cotto looked tonight, it's not a bad idea. He didn't look his best tonight, and he showed 0 head movement. I think Pac would ko the cotto that fought tonight. It's an easy fight to make, pac would make a ton, would have a good chance at winning based on tonight, would win his 7th title in 7 weight classes. makes really good sense, making a potential pbf fight that much bigger. pbf could fight mosley, & then the winners fight.

Why November? Make it late September of early October... 3 months I think is enough to heal Cotto's cut..

u got my respect man!!! a cotto fan but accepting wat seems to be true! im a pac fan and i am not being biased. Pac is too fast for cotto! hatton and DLH looks silly and was annihiated by Pac due to Pac's speed. I think its Floyd that caN MATCH Pac. Floyd has speed too. BUt i still pick Pac over floyd!

True that Pacman will have advantage in speed but Cotto will have advantage in power and his strong jab could and i repeat could, probably keep Pacquiao from being the type of agressor that he has been in these last fights and therefor probably throw fewer punches to avoid being off balance to a potential power punch that he hasn't receive in his whole career. Not asying that Pacquioa would lose but it would be a great fight and fif Pacman wins it won't be as dominate as De La Hoya and Hatton, which i beleive Cotto can beat them easy too.

With this fight (PACMAN-COTTO)probably happening, in a catch weight i must add, and the unwillingness of PBF to fight Mosley, how about MOSLEY-CLOTEY???
I would like to see that also!!!!

Especially now that both fighters are and will have a tough time to get fights. At this moment i beleive that the only fighter out there willing to fight these 2would be only Cotto or Paul Williams.

if pacquiao can make it 2 da middle of da fight he can beat cotto, probably by KO, cotto grew tired and looked wobbly and fatigued by round 7 just like da margarito fight, pacquiao would just have 2 avoid cottos combos in da first part and land some uppercuts and body shots

Cotto is always tired and wobbley.Manny will beat Cotto no doubt and Roach will be going for this fight.I think Cotto is overated in a way,he has had competitive fights with non elite fighters before and he gets too many favours from judges
