More importantly it was obvious he didn't even try to follow the game plan. Hands low, chin high, no jab, no head movement, no lateral movement, it was as if he was going out of his way to ignore everything Floyd Snr had tried to teach him. And then his camp has the cheek to try to blame Floyd! Maybe Floyd was a bit unprofessional turning up late, but that is no excuse for not even trying to follow the game plan. Pathetic.

Wow. Ok. So it took this long for a Team Hatton "insider" to reveal what the real problem was?

I can understand if Ricky had won due to Beard's "take-over-training" maneuver, but apparently not even Beard's training helped him.

I suspected Immediately after the first round that Ricky chose to follow his won plan against Manny. It was pretty obvious to me.

It's kinda strange that we first learned about the riff in camp from Floyd Sr. rather than from someone in Team Hatton.

I was wondering -- If it was as bad as it sounds in regards to Sr's. lateness, why didn't someone put their foot down in camp and demand that Floyd be replaced as trainer, rather than wait til the end of the fight to announce that something was wrong?

Somebody screwed up and the hot potato is being tossed around to try and sway the people's opinion?

He came into the ring wearing an ass-whipping and L on his record.

Hatton got stomped, and Pacquiao would beat him like that 10 times out of 10.

floyd snr is a tit if you ask me, if you like being sold on hype and talk, then floyd snr is your man, but if you look at his actions on paper, i wouldn't want him anywhere near my fighter, friend, or family member......

the ancient predator has no loyalty to his fighters, it's not why hatton lost the fight, but it's a part of the problem, which i think hatton might have been distracted by, effecting his clarity in the fight, which led him to not see any of the things that he was seeing in preparation for the fight.......
Floyd has never been like that, everyone who was trained by him will tell you Floyd is a workaholic and will push you like crazy.DelaHoya would wake up at 5am to hear Floyd shouting and telling him to wake up.He wakes up before his fighters and he goes with them even for the running.

His coming late especially knowing he was on 24/7 was a sign of big problems in the ring.

i think the most exciting thing about this fight was the trash talk between roach and floyd sr.

Hatton came into the ring that night the same fighter he's always been and I wasn't suprised with the outcome.
                      This.

If Hatton went into the fight, fighting the way Floyd taught him to I could see blame going to Floyd. He didn't though, he went into doing the same **** he did in his previous 45 fights.

He got knocked the **** out. It's not like he had fitness issues, or had his game plan fall to pieces. Looking at the 24/7 there is a scene where he is told ''Right hook roll under.... same ****ing move'' no he said it. The first knock down, was a right hook, followed by Pacquiao slipping under.

He only has his inability as a fighter to blame.
