I respect Hatton, but at this point, Hatton is questioning himself evertime he gets hit on the chin.

This was not the case during the kostya/Floyd fights.

Any fighter that is questioning himself everytime he gets hit should retire.

Also.. Hattons has a style that is really only suitable for stationary opponents.

Good/Great elusive fighters will always give him trouble.

No doubt the camp was partly to blame, Hatton has never looked remotely that bad.

Trouble is Ricky cant take a punch anymore.

          Hatton vs Pacquiao

I just want to say I was at the fight and Hatton shouldn't retire. Don't get me wrong, I am a Pac Fan all the way. Hatton needs to fight and win for his fantastic fans who travelled across the pond to cheer so madly for him yet were polite and congratulatory( to us pac fans) upon Ricky's KO. As far as the Mayweather's are concerned ( Floyd SR, Floyd JR , and Roger) I think they should have their own sitcom titled " The Return of the 3 Stooges"

Probably so, just saying that the Mayweather's do to much Smack Talking. Let the fighter's Fists do the talking in the ring.

                What is that about???

Honestly... Hatton was so upset about Mayweather that he did nothing he was told do... to show his trainer that he was in charge???

First of all... it was the wrong decision all the way to hire Mayweather. And don't blame Mayweather if I could get a job with Hatton I would do it too... I guess there are worst paid jobs out there. Mayweather teaches what he knows. His teachings are based on reflexes and agility. Hatton has none of both. Mayweather would also fail with guys like Margarito etc. because these guys offense doesn't allow a defense that is based on that. Mayweather could really help guys like Gamboa who has a reflex mentality in him.

Something must have happened. The first go around were perfect and Senior never was late... so something must have happened between them. Is it professional no... but Senior is not the most grown up man you will know... Hatton still should have moved his head a bit more... and don't jump into an faster man... it ain't worked with Floyd... so how should it work with an also fast and probably harder puncher then Floyd...

Learn about boxing, retire or fight fighters who also have problems with ring knwoledge... they at least make you look better

hatton's peoples are just trying to justify hatton returning to the ring.

they do have a valid argument tho, that floyd's tardiness effected hatton. that was very unproffessional of floyd.

that said, hatton just isn't on pac's level.

Hatton fought more intelligently against Malignaggi than he had since the Tackie fight. Mayweather Snr's influence was positive in that fight. He fought less intelligently against Pac than in any fight I've ever seen him in. I have no idea why, but for his camp to blame it on Floyd being late for some training sessions is ridiculous.

And to those who say Hatton would have lost regardless of his tactics - yes he'd have lost, but if he'd fought more intelligently, like he did against Malignaggi and Tackie, it would have been a lot more competitive.
