Dawson would plant Joe flat on his face..with ease.

I don't believe so. This is one aspect of where I do defend Calzaghe because I view Dawson as a total hype job that got his ass kicked by Glen Johnson and was awarded a shady decision. He had the balls to fight him though unlike Joe, I'll give him that. But HBO has had to force him to take this rematch. All that aside, every quality that Dawson has as a fighter Calzaghe has got more of except for a slight difference in power. And even that wouldn't play a factor because Calzaghe's chin is a lot better than Dawson's in my view. Dawson got knocked down by an Eric Harding jab who doesn't punch hard at all. Dawson also has this nasty habit of going into a shell and letting the other opponent get free offense off on him, and against Calzaghe that is doom. I wouldn't be suprised to see Dawson get stopped because he doesn't strike me as being mentally tough enough to deal with Calzaghe's aggressiveness. I think that Hopkins beat Calzaghe though.
