No word about beating them BARELY, in THEIR 40's, and refusing to EVER fight a a real threat in their primes. All you have is Lacy and Kessler, one is still in Denmark and the other just lost to Taylor lol. Joe Calzaghe is a one trick pony but his trick is an old one, the Sven Ottke one of the Rocky Marciano one. He will never get undeserved credit. You expect him to be rated higher than Mosley who defeated, while out of his prime, a legit, younger WW champion in his prime? Or Mayweather who whooped people left and right winning belts in 5 weight classes? I see Ricky Hatton could have been Joe Calzaghe, easily. All he had to do was stay away from prime Mayweather and Pacquiao. Fight someone else who's been shot to bits and be content. What influence? The fact that he was awarded the Ring Title while being recognised as one of the P4P best boxers on the planet? He will go down as the best Super Middleweight of All Time and is a sure fire Hall of Famer.
