Joe Calzaghe is a one trick pony but his trick is an old one, the Sven Ottke one of the Rocky Marciano one. He will never get undeserved credit. You expect him to be rated higher than Mosley who defeated, while out of his prime, a legit, younger WW champion in his prime? Or Mayweather who whooped people left and right winning belts in 5 weight classes? I see Ricky Hatton could have been Joe Calzaghe, easily. All he had to do was stay away from prime Mayweather and Pacquiao. Fight someone else who's been shot to bits and be content. He did that by fighting Castillo but he wasn't content so he blew it for you guys, who really don't give a ****' **** about truth in sports if you guy get ranked. Ridiculous! Grow up and smell the coffee kid, Joe is fooling NO ONE. We seen it all before.
          Hell yeah..

thats the influence of american boxing right there...

joe shouldve fought there while he was still on his 20s... like brother naseem...

joe is a greater boxer than naseem but naseem got into the american consciousness @ the right time... hence his popularity over joe...

What influence? The fact that he was awarded the Ring Title while being recognised as one of the P4P best boxers on the planet? He will go down as the best Super Middleweight of All Time and is a sure fire Hall of Famer.

It's just the lack of talent on Joe's part.

If he were American he'd be a laughing stock and the butt of every boxing joke.

Exactly, Naz became undispited straight away. Dang he retired long before Joe even had a proper bout.

Hatton lost when against the best, but atleast he went Prime v Prime.

I know it's all down to money end of the day, but atleast Hatton ain't talking rubbish about Being the best when he has not even faced anyone half-decent in their Prime.

Where as Joe, COULD HAVE, and SHOULD HAVE faced a PRIME HOPKINS, RJJ, TARVER, JOHNSON etc. etc.

Even one of them, even if he lost, he could have made himself alot more paydays.

Instead he stuck the calibre of Lacy to go Prime v Prime
