LOl at Maywether and possibly Manny being this huge draw

Im not a big "You have to be a big PPV draw to get a fight", but After doing some reading and stuff, I realiza mayweather is not that big a of a draw.

The dude Biggest PPV Number Without DLH and Without Hatton is 365K. The fans that tune in to watch Mayweather-DLH was becaise they wanted Floyd to get beat nothing more. And the Hatton-FLoyd FIght, well FLoyd had some of DLHs stardom, plus Rickys Army of fans.

This **** gets played out to much by him, his team and his nuthuggers in NSB.

Manny is in the same bout, Tale away his fights with the 2 biggest CashCows on tehir sport and his bigest PPV nmber is like 370K I believe. If Im wrong Correct me.

After Fighting and Hatton and DLH now they ae big draws, because they took that stardom form thise 2 guys who have a Huge ARMY of Fans.

The thing is Cotto in his fight Margarito landed 440,400 PPV buys. He sold out MSG 2 and having a attendance record at MSg in his fight with Judah.

Then you have Margarito, who sold out and have the biggest crown ever at Staples. So I think he have a say on teh matter too.


SO why all of this Mayweather and Pacquiao has been bigger draw, when Cotto have had equal or better succes at selling., When not talking DLH or hatton?

I think if Cotto would of fought this 2 guys(Hatton and DLH) he would of been a bigger Draw than manny and Floyd. And Margarito too.

Yeah I was thinking this the other day.. the real two cash cows are/were DLH and Hatton...

I'm interested to see the numbers Marquez-Mayweather bring.. I know that Pac vs Marquez 2 did ok, but nothing compared to Manny's fight with Ricky and DLH.. FMJ is delusional.. he thinks that out of the 2 millione ppl that bought him vs DLH, that about 1.5 were his fans or something. To be honest though, I don't think Cotto would have gotten those same numbers aginst DLH, even if he were undefeated still and fought in May of 2007.

FMJ's performance on 24/7 HYPED that fight up..unfortunatley Cotto is quiet and keeps to himself, which is the class way of doing things.. but Floyd did briong a lot of hype into that fight...

That is the biggest load of bull. Champ, explain why Mayweather against Badomir did 325K? Baldomir is a No Namer, what did Pacquiao do against a Diaz a No Namer? 200K!

Mayweather vs Gatti was Gatti's 1st PPV and it was Mayweather selling the fight, where as Gatti was a no show at most of the conferences. He did good numbers against Gatti, Badomir and Judah and those namers are nothing compared to Morales, MAB and JMM...what does that tell you? He is a DRAW!

If Cotto took those fights, he probably would be a bigger draw than he is, point is he didn't get those fights, that's how the boxing world roles. In all honesty, I actually feel really sorry for Cotto as he was robbed of a match with De La Hoya, that fight could have pushed him into stardom. Though at the sametime I don't think he would reach Floyd and Manny's level as he lacks charisma.

I apologise for calling you a nuthugger, thinking about it you have a point somewhat. I will say this thought, Pacquiao and Mayweather are called the bigger draws as they draw in none boxing fans and can generate a greater buzz. With Miguel Cotto his name spreads only to boxing fans ( which is great in my opinion).
