why did he want to fight Cotto when Cotto was unknown and now that Cotto is known, why wont he fight him? is that what Floyd said he has wanted, for Cotto to grow?

Well there was a time when he wanted to fight him it seems, but not in the past 3 years anyway. Once Cotto matured popularity wise and as a fighter, Floyd lost interest.

        hmmmmmm

I didnt see the interview but the reason why they may have wanted him back then but not now is the weight. Why is this so hard to understand for people. Floyd was a small 140 pounder and Cotto was a big 140 pounder but at that weight Floyd could handle himself alot better. Thats what changed. I keep telling people that I bet anything that Floyd would fight Aaron Pryor at 140 if he was here right now but he would be really worried about fighting a guy like Margarito or Cotto at WW, strictly due to the size. It changes everything. Floyd was already outweighed against Cotto at 140 but Floyd moves alot better at that weight and can compete size & strength wise. At WW Floyd looks like a little boy compared to them. Now Floyd is pot shotting guys while Cotto looks like he can literaly punch through a wall. Thats what changed. Floyd shouldve just stayed at 140 is the bottom line unless he can find someone to put on some extra size & strength.

I'm surprise the nut-huggers haven't come in and begin their oh Floyd isn't a real WW, Cotto doesn't deserve to fight Floyd, Floyd won't make a lot of money with Cotto, Cotto never called Mayweather out, I still find it funny that Floyd fans never answered my question

On Mayweather not fighting Cotto or other top WWs.

But he was willing to give all those advantages to Baldomir? Why not Cotto? or Mosley? (understand Mosley, but why not Cotto?)

Mayweather doesnt want to fight welterweights.
He probably doesnt have money in the bank so he go to fight featherweight Juan Manuel Marquez to secure his win,and after he beat Marquez
he will probably fight Darchinyan or Calderon!
