HAWK was past his prime when JCC came around. the fighter that ducked Pryor was ray leonard.

Leonard would destroy Pryor with ease so would JCC

Pryor had really good movement but dude didn't have the best defense, he got hit alot against Arguello who is slow. JCC is overall better then Arguello, maybe not power, I'm gonna say JCC by U.D or late K.O.

Chavez was fighting at 130 in 1985, he didn't even move up to 135 permanently until 1987 by which time Pryor was past his prime and fighting at welterweight and got knocked out by Bobby Joe Young.

in 82, both jcc was fighting at lw, and jcc was 29-0. this fight could have happened.

Leonard never ducked Pryor, that is a myth. Aaron never made his bones at welterweight and wasn't the type of money maker Ray was going to fight. Pryor could have forced this fight by moving up and beating some top flight fighters at that weight. The boxing public would have demanded it then.

If Im not mistaken they were also 2 divisions apart at that time, plus there was no call for the fight.

Would have been a great fight though. I'd go with Pryor by 15 round UD. Chavez was a beast, but he'd be to small for Aaron imo.
