cotto doesnt want to fight mosley. whoe else at WW should fight him? Paul is a JMW and MW or atleast thats where his last couple fights occured.

Mosley has fought all comers. I'm not dis*****g that. It's just that there is a strong possibility that he may not be able to fight anyone that brings more financial and legacy wise to the table that Paul Williams does. Like the main story said, Goosen is gonna make it worth Mosley's while. So let's see what happens. Williams deserves a shot at Mosley just as much as Cotto did, and the best fighter on Cotto's resume at the time was Zab Judah who was 1-2 in his last three fights.

i agree also. i wouldnt be mad at a mosley v wilaams fight but to say he is ducking or scared of him is not right.

I think Shane should be patient for 1 more week. If Cotto looks impressive against Clottey, then you have a great October fight vs Cotto for lots of money and the winner can get the megafight with Mayweather or Pacquio next year as the linear welterweight champion.

That makes a lot of sense but I bet if Clottey wins, Mosley will not
fight him. I think Clottey is the only one at 147 that will fight Williams.
Clottey said Mosley has been ducking him. It's funny to me because
Mosley is disregarding fighters/Boxers because he feels ain't no big $
envolved but Pacquiao/Mayweather feels the same about him. I think
Mosley thinks he is a lot more valuable revenue wise than others do.
Mosley should just fight the winner of Clottey/Cotto and keep his eye
on Berto because right now, he is not in the big $ equation. Goosen
even pointed out that Mosley is desperate.

you are wrong, after williams beat margarito he was literally begging another fight with team margarito and arum so he can beat him again but was turned down by bob arum and team margarito, with arum saying "margarito was robbed, and they have bigger and better plans for margarito" those bigger plans were revealed soon....the wins over Golden Johnson and kermit cintron rematch

Paul should fight at his level, Chad Dawson is available.Nobody is interested to fight him
in the WW division.The guy is too big for that division. Mosley had done enough in the ring. For me, he had better record than Floyd that's why Fraud scared like a dog visitor in a place of wolves.

It's okay to put yourself in Mosley's shoes but don't try to act like Paul Williams hasn't earned a fight with a big name because he has. Not just Mosley in particular either. People say that he shouldn't be calling out Shane without beating all comers, but like I said earlier Paul has already proved his worth with wins over a potentially loaded Margarito and Winky Wright. I'd like to see him fight guys like Martinez and Kirkland, sure, but how can you be mad at a guy who has the intention of shooting for the absolute cream of the crop of the weight divisions he is fighting in. That's what real fighters do, and Mosley is considered as the best Welterweight in the world.
