Wladimir should never give this creep a title fight unless he has to.
hayes trainer said two weeks extra was all he would need to get his man ready. why do u just assume they already had the results of his physical? and i could bet my life u was critizising haye a few days ago saying he pulled out cuz he was scared. the physical shows he had no choice but to pull out, and still u critizise him after making ******ed speculations. i doubt he knew he wouldnt be cleared to fight by the 11th, and even if he did he probably said that date so he wouldnt lose the fight. cuz he knew wlad wont be likely to give him another shot. u should leave your personal opinions out of the mix. haye isnt a "creep", hes just a guy desperate to become champion, i admire that. most HWs are just desperate for some pie and a sports bra.

They should read this article to get their facts straight.
Yes, you should. The doctors advice was that she shouldn't fight until then; that doesn't mean he wouldn't have done, and would have pulled out. His team seem to think he would have been in good enough shape a couple of weeks before that. Doesn't really matter any more, does it?

It matters in the sense that anyone who thinks that a back injury can be healed to order is delusional, they are notoriously unpredictable; plus if the doctor had refused to clear him to fight, the fight could not have gone ahead. So posters who keep posting that Wlad only had to wait three weeks and that it was unfair or cowardly of him to take the fight with the much higher ranked Chagaev on the original date instead, are either being delusional at best or being out and out irrational haters at worst. Wlad deserves massive props for taking on such a highly ranked opponent at such short notice, especially as Chagaev is a southpaw, and Wlad has trained for an orthodox fighter. And it's for The Ring and lineal Heavyweight title, so it's the most meaningful Heavyweight fight since Lennox Lewis retired.

        • As long as Haye fights before August...

I'll be really annoyed if he spends another few months **** talking and getting a fight for like November/December time.

exacty. david haye is the only heavyweight worth watching. as haye said, all the heavyweights are bums and gonna get KTFO.

              Do you really believe that?

Watch the Boytsov-*****ko fight from yesterday. I put the YouTube video in the other thread.

How is Denis Boytsov not worth watching?

That's what the man on the TV tells you, isn't it? And like the **** followed the Pied Piper, you believe and repeat everything you hear Bunce say on TV.

If you watched boxing more objectively and attentively, you'd see there are a lot of very good young heavyweights coming out of Eastern Europe like Glazkov, Dimitrenko and Boytsov.

You have to count cruiserweight opponents for the cruiserweight record and keep them out of the heavyweight record.
                    2. Obviously they are not comparing records but "some fights of Ali" with "some fights of someone else". A basic mistake in all comparisons. You cannot compare merely someone's best performance and neglect the whole career.

Ali is an ATG. But he can be soooo boring. Clinches twice as much as Klitschko by the way (I stopwatched), KOs seldomly and has no defense whatsoever. You cannot consider Klitschko a boring fighter without considering Ali an even more boring fighter.

Just watch Ali vs Norton, any round any time: Basically all of Norton's jabs land, even the slowest ones. HOW CAN THIS CRAP BE GOOD?

Or watch Ali vs Earnie Terrell (WBA world heavyweight title, Terell at that time 38-4). Ali runs away the whole fight, Terell has no clue what to do, as soon as he comes closer to Ali, Ali clinches, grabs his neck and insults him. Ali lands some weak shots (how could they be strong when he is punching while running backwards?). My god ANY modern heavy would walk THROUGH Terell. Ali went 15 rounds with him. Ali's record is full of such "good guys" like Terell.

                    • Ali had merely 15 (FIFTEEN!) KOs in his entire heavyweight career (200+) How can this be exciting?
                    • 7 of these KOs were against bums like Miteff (26-13) or Besmanoff (51-34).
                    • The rest against doubtful opposition like
                      • half-blind Frazier
                      • probably drugged Foreman
                      • gunshot-wounded Cleveland Williams
                      • Jimmy Ellis who boxed as low as 155 lbs.
                    • Ali's record has a lot of such doubtful opponents like
                      • 25 years older Archie Moore
                      • George Chuvalo, who is actually OK but has lost 12 of his 19 bouts against somewhat good 200+ opponents
                    • Ali's AVERAGE opponent was 205 lbs. Wlad IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER HAS not fought anyone as low as that.
                    • Ali's HEAVIEST OPPONENT he ever KOed within 12 was 223 lbs. That is lighter than Wlads AVERAGE opponent.
                    • Remember Wlad vs Ibragimov? The small guy (Ibragimov) was as heavy as Foreman when Ali fought him.

Get real people. Ali's fights were basically pumped up cruiserweight fights. Basically what the cruiser division is now. Noone is interested in that anymore. Watch some real heavyweight fights like Lennox vs Klitschko or Platov vs Williams.
possibly the biggest pile of crap ive read in the last year.

                    cong****.
