They filled the stadium because of Wlad's popularity, not Haye's.
Haye's past two fights in smaller venues in his hometown of London didn't even sell out.

Wlad has never fought in a huge football stadium before, but unlike Haye, he has sold out every venue he's fought during the past few years.

If you honestly think it was just coincidence that the fight sold far more seats than any fight in Europe since World War II, and that the only reason Wlad's previous fights sold far fewer tickets is that he just didn't think of the possibility of using a football stadium (duh!) then you're beyond delusional. If he'd thought he could have sold out a football stadium in his previous fights, he'd have had a fight in one.
A lot of the tickets were sold to Brits, and a lot of Germans wanted to see the trash-talking Brit get knocked out in an entertaining fight.

It's interesting that the more consequential fight for the division, which would be Klitschko against Changeav to give Wladimir the WBA belt, too, is being spit on. Now, it's one thing to be dissapointed David Haye backed out of the fight with an injury, and that Wlad opted to fight someone else, but don't blame Wladimir if the division is weak enough that the most meaningful fight he could possibly sign for the division isn't the one the fans want to see.
If David Haye is really of the caliber at heavyweight to fight Klitschko, then he can prove that in a stay-busy fight while Wlad collects another belt and becomes the undisputed man at heavyweight, and then Haye can challenge Wladimir for all the marbles and the chance to become the man by beating the man.
Sure, I'd rather watch Haye-Klitschko, but I can't be really upset about the replacement; at least not in who Wladimir chose to fight. I can't see how anyone calls this a ***** move. If you think that's the case than, basically, you think everyone in the division is a walking punching bag made of meat and blood for anyone named Klitschko or Haye to smack around, either with a methodical style (Wladimir) or an exciting one (Haye) but that nothing that really happens at the weight matters other than those two men fighting. If that's the case, you really have nothing to gain from seeing Haye beat Klitschko, and the division is probably a lost cause for you, so just do what many others have done and ignore it for a few years.
