Joshua Clottey Plans To Batter Miguel Cotto

I think him beating Cotto will make him one of the elites in the WW division. But when you're not KO'ing guys and putting on dominant and crowd pleasing performances like Cotto and Mosley have, its tough to put him in those rankings. I put him slightly above Berto based on him having more names on his resume and having more experience, but I still think he's a level or two below skill wise and overall ability to Cotto and Mosley.

Skill wise I think he is close enough to Cotto and Mosley, based on counter punching and defense. Shane's is a well skilled fighter, but he isn't supremely up there, however Cotto is. Cotto will most likely beat him, but it will be a rough fight for either guy.

It isn't proven Zab Judah is washed up. I think people say this because Zab is lazy and doesn't always train, but miguel has taken way more punishment then Zab throughout his career.

Now Clottey is elite because he took out Zab in an intriguing entertaining fight. His skills are obviously there, against Margarito he was impressive beating up the big man til he injured himself...Thats elite. He stood toe to toe and was winning. Cotto ran and lost. Against Zab, Cotto nearly got knocked out in the first round and had to cheat to win. CLottey against Zab punished him how cotto did, minus the nearly getting knocked out and the cheating. It was a clean fight.

So they do have things on their resume you can compare. Also I think Zab looked better against Clottey then he did against Cotto.Zab was laid off from figthing for a year when he fought Cotto and took the fight which was a mainevent ppv fight without getting any rounds in before. When he fought Clottey he came off of two wins against Ryan Davis and Edwin Vasquez. So In my opinion Clottey took out a better Zab than Miguel. Thats my opinion

Cottos a Big man with a soft body. I doubt he will be able to take what Clottey Dishes out, I expect cotto to have a strong first 3 rounds and crumble to precise punching. Also In the Later rounds of Cotto vs Paulie, Paulie rocked him in about the 8th round so I believe as hard as clottey hits, Cotto doesn't have to be hit that hard to be knocked out, I think he has to be hit precisely and consistently which is what the Hitter does best.

What a **** post, Paulie hurt Cotto what a ****ing joke. The only reason Paulie finished the fight is that Cotto had a broken right hand you wouldn't know this because he was a man and didn't complain about it. Unlike Clottey who bitched and moaned he had a broken hand when in fact it was just a bruised knuckle.
