Just a question, who has Clottey faced to know he is durable? Yes he can stand there, yes he has decent D. But I really dont see much else to him. He fights in spurts. Thats not enough to win vs cotto. Cotto might not be the best boxer or have the best footwork but when you compare him to clottey the guy that hes facing hes definitely better then him. Cotto by Ud or late TKO due to stoppage (cause clotteys hand might bruise up again).

LOL man some of you REALLY want Cotto to lose, but can't really explain how (huh? lol)
People are talking about Clottey walkin Cotto down and how big the guy is, but is he REALLY that hard of a puncher? Who has he hurt or taken out in the last 3 years? What I find funny is how quick people's opinions change on a fighter after just 1 loss.
A lot of you were singing a different tune just prior to Cotto's loss and now Joshua Clottey is going to KO Cotto? C'mon guys, time to start strapping up the thinking cap here.Comment

Finally an intelligent commenter. I've been saying it all along these people are giving Clottey some mythical power all of a sudden. Clottey has had 1 KO leading all the way back to 2004. Clottey hasn't hurt any elite WW he's faced either nor could he KO a light weight turned WW so I seriously doubt he'll KO an elite WW. As far as these bums talking about Cotto not being as durable he fought half a fight against Margarito with a battered nose, outboxed Mosely in late rounds while Mosely was getting an offensive second wind, and fended off Judah with a hole in his mouth en route to a KO. Cotto has proven he can hang in there through adversity and Clottey won't bring anything new. The question is can Clottey overcome adversity should it come his way last I remember he ran after bruising hands. Cotto has both the heart and skills to pull off a win.LOL man some of you REALLY want Cotto to lose, but can't really explain how (huh? lol)

Lol at everyone saying that Clottey will break down Cotto. Clottey is a sharp puncher not even close to being a power puncher. He has some snap in his punches but no real power behind that plus his layback style will allow Cotto to dictate the pace of the fight. If he comes out trying to batter Cotto he'll negate his only advantage over Cotto and that's his tight defense. If Clottey goes in thinking he's going to pressure Cotto he's going to get countered, busted up and knocked out much quicker than if he fights in his regular style.Comment

Cottos a Big man with a soft body. I doubt he will be able to take what Clottey Dishes out, I expect cotto to have a strong first 3 rounds and crumble to precise punching. Also In the Later rounds of Cotto vs Paulie, Paulie rocked him in about the 8th round so I believe as hard as clottey hits, Cotto doesn't have to be hit that hard to be knocked out, I think he has to be hit precisely and consistently which is what the Hitter does best.Comment
