Not even about Shane blowing his chances, more like Shane is past it and should look else where. I have no interest in seeing Mayweather dominate Shane in a one-sided/ non-competitive fight, which he won't get credit for, due to Shane's age. Shane's 3-4 inch jab and 0 adaptability will get him no where against Floyd. I really don't care for this, can't understand why other people do. In the end, people will ***** about Shane being past it, how boring the fight was and they will discredit the win.

Spot on. There is nobody from 147 on down that if Floyd beat them, there would be an excuse for each one.

And nobody will make Mosely or Cotto do anything they don't want to either. Difference is, Manny is willing to take on the bigger challenges, whereas Floyd is taking on the smaller challenger instead of the guys in his own class.

Straight from the horses mouth.Plain and simple, this comeback is about money and not about fight the best...unless they happen to be a lot smaller than him.

Mayweather is to small to fight at welter and to big for 140 so he fights at Floydweight. That's the class where blown-up lightweights fight.

People continue to ignore the fact that this is a good "Tune Up" that will lead to Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Also depending on how dominant Mayweather is, in his win against JMM, the demand will be HUGE.

Is Floyd the lineal champ of that division?
