I've heard, "Mayweather should fight a top WW", never heard he should clean up the WW division.

Its a big deal because he has been at 147 for the better part of 3 years. Whats that old saying, "either ****, or get off the pot"? The worst part is he tries to make everybody who doesn't meet his fanancial standards seem unworthy.

and like I said, nobody forced Oscar to come in at the same weight the day after the weigh in.
Its about skills, history doesnt say its tougher for a smaller guy to beat a bigger guy, history shows better skills usually win, UNLESS the weight is too much to overcome, still every circumstance is different, based on styles, skills of both fighters, etc. Fact is Floyd is the more skilled fighter and thats why he should win.

This should be simple-Cotto,Moseley,Williams= best at welter and all represent TOUGH challenges.

Marquez and Pacquiao=great fighters indeed, but having to fight way out of their comfort zones to accomodate senor jetski caravan.

he didn't dominate at 135, just struggled. now up the weight and quality/skills/power of the opponent and draw a picture of what's going to happen

EDIT: it's not about attention. it's just that every thread i go to, i find dumb posts and most of them belong to you
If he struggled its because of the competition level moreso than weight, again he knocked out two champs who had never been knocked out before, why do you and everyone want to ignore that, because it doesnt help your argument thats why.

                    Right.

Floyd said he's only coming back for legacy. So far it's only for money. Legacy will be if he takes on Pac at 140 and Cotto at 147. My hat's off for Mayweather if he does just that, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Well, people are gonna be sobbing over this one for a while. I mean after July 18th, people will demand Mayweather vs Pacquiao. What Cotto should do is, specifically call out Mayweather, Keyword: specifically, not the usual, "I'll fight anybody", I want him to say, "I'd like to fight Mayweather". Hopefully, by that time, Cotto can keep on winning.
