Well he stopped preaparing, and ever since his dacking of his coach. A loss was coming.

It's good he got out when he did, you've seen what's happened to other boxers who carried on boxing without any care of winning or losing.

Naz has got the money, and really didn't care much for anything else, so good for him

At his best, under the Ingles, he was very good.

Under Ingle and before he let his fame get to him,
Naz was one of the best featherweights of all time.
He had one of a kind reflexes, his ability to throw punches at awkward angles was one of a kind.
I mean i remember on a few occasions watching Naz change direction of a punch after he threw it and still knock the guy out with it.

That really make little sense, Tommy Hearns one of the biggest punchers in boxing had something like 5 KOs in over 100+ fights as an AM. When he turned pro Steward taught him how to use his leverage to KO people.

he had some amzing gifts. speed, chin, accuracy, power but he relied on them too much. he could have been one of the bst p4p but enjoyed himself in the ring too much.

At his prime he was great.
He had sick power, he was able to fire shots from any possible angle, had an impressive speed + cat like reflexes.

But like someone said: Styles like his has not much time of prime.

Great fighter to watch, but burned out pretty quickly

even though he was past his best by the Barerra fight Hamed's style was always going to hit a roadblock against a technically savvy, cautious opponent

He just got lazy, didnt work hard due to him having a big head and severly underestimating his opponents.

The saddest part was that as I mentioned earlier, HBO put a lot behind him. He had a lot of big time fights lined up for him that would have made him the greatest FW of alltime and a legendary fighter. He had Morales, Marquez, Pacquiao, Barrera, Gainer, Tapia, Sanchez, Ayala and a few other big name fights on the plate but by that time he no longer cared about boxing. If he would have stayed with the ingles and stayed focus he could have beaten all of those guys and thats real talk. Most people will disagree but in the barrera fight barrera fought about as safe as I have ever seen him fight due to his fear of Naz power. I kept saying, along with the HBO commentater, and emmanuel stewart, that if he would have atleast through a simple combo he would have KO'D barrera because everytime Hamed hit him he would freeze up. That fight shouldnt have even been close.
                  I disagree here ...

MAB has one of the best chins in boxing, it could be cracked but it will take a lot of shots to do it...

                  fights that Marco also fought defense/safety first ... Jr.Jones-MAB, MAB-Juarez 2 & PAC-MAB 2

Naseem is possibly the hardest hitting featherweight I've ever witnessed. If Naseem landed on MAB I also believe he could of atleast dropped him, but he didn't and that's all that matters. Hamed had all the tools and natural ability but never took the time to perfect himself, got sloppy and got beat a very common story in boxing, sadly.

I think alot of Hameds power came from his speed and unpredictability.

When MAB fought him, he was tactically prepared, and found Hmaed to be very predictable with his attacks.
