I agree.. I was a fan of Cintron back when he was an up and comer. I know the losses to Marg devistated him. He became a whiner and his skills became lethargic...His last fight disgusted me! I said I was done with him but truly wanted to see him dig himself out of his trenches. He did last night. He fought a smart fight and deserved the win.

Yeah angulo didn't look the same. I would have bet against cintron too. Props to kermit.

Cintron did a great job! Discipline, Game Plan, and Movement! I would liked to have seen them go toe to toe... but UD for Cintron! I'll take it!

ok so like he was allot slicker that he normally was? man i wish i got out to see that fight! I'm glad he is improving! That's my boy!

I had Angulo winning the last 4 rounds and a couple of early ones..... I had it a draw, or even Angulo by one....

Yea, it was a close fight, could have went either way. Cintron could have stopped Angulo if his stamina didnt crap out on him, Angulo looked like ****. He may have been sick or weight drained, but also Cintron's good movement definitely contributed to how Angulo looked.

wow cintron looked great over the 1st half he looked very confident to night which is usually not the case with him i think ronni shields is good 4 him ..as for the martinez fight ..martinez is just alot better

I thought the scoring was right but angulo looked like he was distacted somehow evfn before the fight during the introductions.I recall them saying he had trouble making weight.give cintron credit he looked good & got himself right back in the title hunt

i was never on the angulo train, but i disliked cintrons heart alot more so i thought hed pull off the victory but i guess not .. that dog collar is mad ****in gay

Despite Kermit Cintron showing improvement in this fight and more heart to go along with it, I still don't like the guy. As Max Kellerman mentioned he is a mandatory challenger to Sergio Martinez. But if I was Martinez, I wouldn't perform the Heimlich manuever on this joker if he was choking on a chicken bone. What is Martinez gonna gain by fighting this guy again? Yeah, he may avenge the draw, but we all know that Cintron is still not that good and Martinez beat him the first time. Even though he won tonight against Angulo, it looked to me like Alfredo would have stopped him if he had another round or two to do it. So to me, I wasn't impressed with this victory by Cintron at all.

If you thought that ANGULO was gonna school Cintron then you should be more than impressed by Cintron's victory, which everyone doubted him on this one.
