Baldomir beat Judah and become ring champion. Judah become number 2 because of his loss
Zab was made number two by Ring after the loss, you are correct.

Such a great point. Morales never won a fight after Pacman forced him down TWICE

Mosleys last fight at 154 was 2006 against Fernando Vargas and prior to that he was fighting at 147. I don't see how you can say Mosley was the best at 154 at the time Floyd fought Oscar taking them facts into consideration. Oscar was clearly the best 154er at the time Floyd fought him.

i know he was a champ for beating mayorga (who won a vacant belt right before......yeah that wasn't set up) but he can't be #1 automatically by jumping into a new division. maybe for the boxing orgs but not for ring magazine which i'm using for my basis since it's the best reference for rankings.

the only time guzman ever became the top ranked guy in his division that i can remember was 130.

he got that because barrera , morales , marquez and pacquiao all left.

maybe you're talking about being the #1 contender for a belt for one of the boxing orgs. that's common since if you're a champ at 1 weight and then move up they automatically make you a #1 challenger in the new weight class.

they bumped him off right before the oscar-floyd fight because he fought collazo at 147.
