Lightweight Mayweather fighting 6 foot Welterweight Diego Corrales

Funny how no one had a problem with this fight and everyone had no problem picking Mayweather to lose.

5 knockdowns later and Corrales' corner waving the white towel, we were witnesses to greatness.

It's about the weight difference, not the weight class.

Floyd fu.cked Diego up over 10 rounds, took his zero, and made him cry.

      RIP Corrales.

Much respect to Corrales though, he wanted to fight on. Floyd was just too good.

        R.I.P Diego.

When Floyd says "I don't fight for bragging rights, I fight for checks. I have already proved myself"
People wanna change the wording and say he doesn't care about his fans when all he's saying is he has already chased the top fighters in the past and been the underdog and won, now he's on top and is chasing nobody and wants the biggest money fights possible.

How is he not fighting for the fans when the "biggest" money fights possible means, the fights that the 'fans' would pay for? The fight won't be big if the fans don't pay for it right? They also bring in money, he's fighting for checks but only in the fights that fans would pay for.

When he said Mosley is not a PPV attraction, when he talks about attraction he means the fans. Would the fans buy it? 350k PPVs against Cotto, two fighters with so called fan bases doing a PPV so low, that even unknown Baldomir vs Mayweather did sold slightly more.

People need to understand that Floyd is indeed fighting for the fans, if you think he does not mean the fans/money when he says PPV attraction then you are just blinded by hatred.

gatti and judah were good fights at the times, the gatti fight sold well for Floyd's first PPV, and while Judah just recently lost the undisputed WW title he was one of the few guys in boxing that could duplicate Floyd in speed, and some say produce more speed than Floyd. Judah was also a southpaw and Mayweather has had trouble with them. This fight sold well too.
