Calzaghe and Dawson: a double standard about fighting old opponents

As much as I don't respect Calzaghe for wasting a lot of his career fighting second-rate opponents in Wales, I have zero interest in a Calzaghe-Dawson fight. Every quality that Chad has, Calzaghe does it better. Calzaghe has better hand speed, a better chin, more heart, and he is more aggressive. The fight may go the distance but Calzaghe would dominate Chad Dawson. Dawson's tendancy to take whole rounds off in fights would spell doom for him. And once Dawson lost, those are the same exact reasons why Joe wouldn't get credit for the victory.

Who would you rather fight in a dark alley.

Why do people even think it was a controversial fight between Hopkins & Calzaghe?? I didn't know a clinchfest equaled to a win for the other guy. Must be sore American fans who hate losing to Brits.

First off, most people in here wanted Dawson to fight Johnson because of how close their first fight was and thought that he was ducking The Road Warrior.

Second, i'm sure once Dawson is done fighting the old timers of the division, which Glen should be the last, he will have plenty of time to take on Diaconu and Cloud. He is still in his 20's, all they have to do is maintain their position.

In the meantime, why don't Cloud and Diaconu fight each other unstead of clinging on to their meaningless mandatory positions.
