I belive that's y he's testing out juanma & his ability to bring in crowds & IMO in jersy juanma will bring in more fans than pavlic. Well I think Kessler would be a hell of a tune up for Pav before he fights AA. I dont like AA but he would be a tough fight for Pav. It would be a really BAD move to go right after AA. But either way I would like to see him face Kessler and then AA.

Sturm is good enough to fight the top guys. Who doesn't remember him getting robbed against de la Hoya in Cali? He just has a tough time getting fights.
Mora would have given Pavlik fits becuas eof his awkward style but in the end, Pavlik's power is just to much.

Arums problem is that he pays Pavlik too much to fight unheralded guys. I mean Pavlik got 2.5 million to fight Lockett. Yes that Gary Lockett!!

He has to get Pavlik a decent opponent and get him back on the HBO schedule. Pavlik is not a PPV star. He is far from being a PPV attraction.

Kessler is another one. I didn't see the most recent info on him, but I don't really see him as an active boxer.

Pavlik needs to fight AA. It's simple, the two best MW's in the world vs each other. His stock will still be high unless he gets blown out, and if he wins he's back on his way to superstardom.

really, he should ditch Jack Loew and get a better trainer, take two fights, then fight AA if he is still around.

I agree with most of this post aside from ditching Jack Loew. Jack is part of the reason Kelly has gotten this far, and to replace a long standing relationship can end up being a disaster. Some fighters need that kind of father figure around like Calzaghe for example, or hell even Ricky Hatton with Billy Graham.

Pavlik is still disgruntled that Arum fed him Hopkins, a man that Arum said he would beat. No different than when Lacy was mad that Shaw fed him Calzaghe.

I agree with most of this post aside from ditching Jack Loew. Jack is part of the reason Kelly has gotten this far, and to replace a long standing relationship can end up being a disaster. Some fighters need that kind of father figure around like Calzaghe for example, or hell even Ricky Hatton with Billy Graham.

My problem with Loew is that be had all the wrong strategy for Hopkins and had no plan B or C for his fighter. He isn't a well rounded trainer. Plus all the crap he was saying about the Hopkins fight being an easy fight. Some guys should switch trainers some shouldn't, it all depends.
