Miguel Cotto would KO Floyd Mayweather

Possible if Mayweather has plaster gloves like the Cheater but like it is Mayweather is way to feather fisted to KO top guys like Cotto or even Mosley. And there is no way Mayweather wins by TKO because he runs a lot and It would be hard for him to land enough combinations to make the reff stop the fight.

Mayweather best bet would be to win on the scorecard and I don't think he will be able to run away from Cotto for 12 rounds and win because Cotto is always chasing the opponent.

I think that Floyd would be on the back foot and would win a decision, but all I am saying is that while he catches Cotto moving in and picks him off over rounds (which in my opinion I think he would), Cotto's stamina might fade and he will then get caught with more punches... he isn't very powerful but like Gambler said he could get him with a shot that he doesn't see coming and hurt him with it, plus if Cotto's stamina fades Mayweather might find it a good idea to work him down...

Example, Hatton (Cotto is much better than Hatton in respect), Mayweather caught him a lot moving in... and over time his precise accurate punches worked him down and he got a TKO victory later on... I aint saying this would happen with Cotto, but I am saying there is a possibility that something similar to that happens.

I still think Mayweather wins a decision, but all I am saying is that if Mayweather keeps picking him off and Cotto's stamina fades he will get hit and worked on more and it could result in the referee stopping the fight.

Mayweather hasn't got great power admittedly but it is still kinda underrated by some people...

I would call Floyd knocking Cotto out unlikely, but Floyd has very sharp crisp punches if he catches Cotto with a big punch he does not see comming I think he can hurt Cotto, and if Floyd gets Cotto in trouble like that I think he will finish the job.

Not saying it is likely or probably, just that it is not totally out of the question.

Exactly, it is most likely that it wouldn't happen and if Floyd beat him it would probably go to decision... but there is always a possibility and you can't rule it out I guess.

What made you come to the conclusion that he is above? Did Floyd face two of the most dangerous Welterweights like Cotto did? WTF has Floyd done besides duck the Elite fighters to help you make that conclusion?

You don't have any proof Margarito used plaster in that fight...in that case I can assume he used them against Paul Williams and other fighters he fought.
