Mosley, Cotto are Just Options For Pacquiao on Oct. 17

Pacman's advisor is just trying to protect his asset at this point if he choses Valero or JC jr. He knows stepping in the ring with Cotto or Mosely would be a big mistake with an awful lot of risks. If Cotto beats Clottey don't expect a fight between Pac and Cotto because they will see how good Cotto really is and realize there is far too much at stake to fight a beast like cotto. Though this is nothing against Pacman because I'm a huge Pacman fan and I don't think it is Roach or Manny's decision who they fight...it's always up to the promoters and managers and they usually protect their fighters so I don't see this fight happening before a Mayweather fight.

Pac wanting fights at catch weights is just proving that he can't or at least isn't confident in fighting these fighters at their prime weight. He was already catching flack for fighting weight drained and old fighters. Now with the latest that Roach wants Cotto and Mosley to drain themselves in order to fight Manny is nonsense. How many of the ATG's fought at catch weights? True ATG's moved into the weight class for the real challenge. Pac should be doing the same.

Heck for all the **** people say about Mayweather, at least he didn't try and force his opponents to drain themselves for his advantage. Floyd is the real mccoy, Manny isn't appearing to be.

I have to disagree because Floyd made Hatton move up to 147lbs when Hatton was already lit up by Collazo at 147. Therefore Mayweather saw his opportunity in man handling Hatton at that weight.

- jcc jr is a dumb as fight, seriously, pac will get ragged on if he makes this fight

- valero is a decent fight, but imho that fight has yet to mature and make really good money. Valero needs more exposure and better names on his resume.

- the pinoy managers aren't even considering mosley. That's good because mosley is way too big for pac.

- pac's "managers" really need to talk 2 roach and arum when brainstorming potential fights, cause they don't know jack**** about matchmaking.

- atleast floyd is still on the radar and most likely floyd will be the next opponent, but hopefully floyd doesn't price himself out.

If he fights Pac people say he's picking on the "smaller" guy again and that hes ducking the "bigger" guys again! People that I know that know almost nothing about boxing know who Mayweather is..... They know him because he talks a lot of ****... but they also know he always wins.... Why would that be? Pacquiao is 5'6 1/2 who started fighting at 106. He's a former flyweight (112 lbs) champion who's thinking about fighting at 147 pounds. He just won at 140 pounds. Asking former junior welters current welterweight champions to meet him halfway (not even asking them to fight in their old division that they fought him & only 1 division less) is cherry picking?
