At the end of the day ( ) who cares what these guys say. Their job is to sell themselves as being the best thing since sliced bread. It's a business. So Hopkins says "His style is amateur", fine, but that completely contradicts how he dealt with him in the ring. Basically, he lost to an amateur style? What-****ing-ever, man. But it was his toughest fight? WTF!

See, nothing they say makes any sense, we may as well totally disregard it and just rely on what our eyes see. What I saw was two very good (great, in fact) fighters who made each other look like absolute dog ****. I don't know what it is... probably that their styles clash so badly it just creates ugly chaos. They'd probably fight the same way 10 times out of 10.

I don't like victim mentalities, but it does seem to me that Joe Calzaghe is disliked on this forum purely because he is British. Or maybe it is because he is White. I am just not sure.

Either way, his fans (people such as myself) recognise that he is not the greatest fighter that ever lived, but never in history has an undefeated, Undisputed Champion of the World been abused on such a scale.
