Are you seriously trying to convince everyone that Joe fought just "one credible fighter" in his entire career?

    Just one?

    Dear me.

It's obvious that that horrendous hand injury affected the man badly during the last five or six years of his reign as Champ.

It's amazing how no one talks much about Calzaghe only a few months after announcing his retirement.

Floyd retired and it was like he never left. People talked almost as much about him when he was retired as when he was active.

That says a lot. Calzaghe never engrained his greatness into the consciousness of boxing fans. The fact that he had great talent is besides the point. A lot of fighters have had great talent but are not remembered as "Greats". Calzaghe will be forgotten by most people in the next 15 years.

Joe would of beaten James Toney, he was a level below Calzaghe.

Hopkin is a more difficult prospect but he would have troube with a prime Joe's hand speed.

Jones would of been a pick em fight.

I wish people would celebrate a great and underrated fighter like Joe more, he was an exceptional talent.

              won 46 (KO 32) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 46

roy was washed up. beating him means as much as berbick beating ali. lacy was a bum, dont give me that u said this and that.. he never beat nobody, not before or after joe. kessler is a decent fighter, but if he was something special his ppl wouldnt protect him so much. that leaves eubank who was past his best but still a solid win, especially so early in joes career. and hopkins, who also was past his best.. but it doesnt matter since i didnt think he beat hopkins anyways.

joe was a very talented fighter, but he was to obsessed with staying undefeated he didnt take the risks he should have. hes a couldve, shouldve but didnt fighter who doesnt deserve to go down amongst the best of his time lil less of all time.

                      OK, so answer one question:

Why was getting a win over Calzaghe such a big deal?

                      Answer one more:

Should anyone who lost to a "damn bum" and "the biggest fraud in boxing" be embarrassed?
