And in Florida, Atlantic City, parts of Mass and Buffalo, etc. He'd sell well along most of the East Coast where there are more Rican's.

Keep in mind although Clottey is a New York based fighter, he hardly draws a crowd.

Two non-American fighters, one of which lost two fights ago and has the less regarded WBO title, and the other one has no title at the time, sell out the arena at once...

P.S. I hope to see Berto fighting some of the top Weloterweights some day...

P.S. and i hope that one of those 12k tickets was bought by Margarito
1st) All Puerto Ricans are American even if some of us don't won't to be.

2nd) Marga-cheato better have bought more than just one ticket if he's going to attend. (Where are all his bodyguards going to sit?)

3rd) Berto shouldn't even have that belt because he lost to Collazo!

      • Why are people trying to hate on the fact that Cotto vs Clottey will be a packed house?

Also, do people forget what arena they call the Mecca of Boxing? Yes, Vegas takes the cake right now due to the money the hotels and guests bring in on a fight weekend, but not many people can say in their lifetimes that they filled Madison Square Garden time and time again.

How about this...don't we have a good fight coming up on June 13th? But of course, people are going to bring up how much more tickets one guy sells more than the other to prove a irrelevant point.

I still think Cotto out sells Floyd on the east coast.
