Yeah White Americans along with all other Americans Blacks, Hispanics are dooing pretty poorly, been like that for a while though

What's with all the people acting insulted? Anyone who says sports, boxing in particular doesn't have an ethnic dynamic to it are fooling themselves

Look at Cotto or Trinidad or Pacquiao or whoever, it's a reality, deal with it.

It hasn't been that long, Americans in general will be back on top soon enough. Maybe not in the heavyweight division but from light heavy on down to about lightweight.

this is funny but true. but I think it is because boxing is a poor man's game. and at the moment, most poor ppl are **********. They need this to get themselves out of poverty. I can't imagine White trailer park kids going to boxing gyms.

What boxing needs is more real champions period. The best fighting the best and not ducking anybody. That will be bring glory back to boxing and will inspire young people to be great in the sport.

Teenage white kids need some boxers to look up to, guys like Kelly Pavlik who give hope to a Youngstown community in bad economic times. Other than Pavlik there is no one else to look up to. White youths have all those white UFC fighters and can relate to them. They in a way can associate with those fighters and where they came from. That is something they cannot do with hispanic or european fighters who dont speak english.

Who said they can't? When I was a kid I looked up to Boom Boom Mancini. As a matter of fact my Dad gave me the nickname Boom Boom when I was a kid in honor of him.
