you packfans got to be joking. this is the millionth time i read some one saying that the packyau that fought those 3 punching bags improved and is a completely different fighter than he was last year. how the **** did that happen? if freddie was able to make an atg in a year, shouldnt every fighter out there be trying to train with him? its easy to look good against guys that suck when you have the physical strength and speed to not have to fully engage them.
The Best Analysis of JMM VS Floyd I Have Seen

You do realize Pac was 16 years old and was most likely still in puberty and was a starving boy back then, right?
He may have even had slowed down his growth process.
Floyd was 106 pounds at 16 as well.
Maybe Pac shouldn't have starved himself so much. That's one of the possible reasons he was knocked out twice back then as well, right?
And why in his 20's he started to out-grow weight classes and somehow out-grew the 135 division after only one fight. Same fight he weighed in at 147. Same guy that Freddie said was as high as 152 pounds with 6% body-fat while training for Oscar (and working his way down).
Now either Pac was a starving boy back then and took time to mature or he is eating healthier now which caused him to out-grow divisions and out-grow the LW division so fast...or, he is doing something else to help alter his appearance.
Pac was 147 pounds, just like Oscar...but Oscar was coming down in weight after all those years which effected him badly the way he did it. But that is on Oscar.Comment

Floyd will win but its not because Marquez is any less talented or gifted as Floyd. Marquez boxing i.q is just as high as floyds and he has an all around understanding of timing and the sweet science.
Think about this if you will. JMM is not as strong, fast, or as athletic as Manny, but in both fights he was able to use precise punching and beyond accurate timing to negate the effectiveness of a fighter who holds every possible physical advantage over him. JMM was not ducked by Hamed, Barrera and Moralse through out the early part of the decade for no reason.
What he lacks in physicality he makes up for in flawless form and the technical mastery of boxing. Marquez does EVERYTHING right.
Now am I saying JMM has a chance with Floyd? No i dont believe he does and here is my reasoning. Marquez was perfect @ 127 and 130. When he moved up to 135 to fight Cassamayor and Diaz his legs werent as solid as they use to be. He was getting hit a lot more backed up by fighters who arent as good as him. I dont think his age is catching up to him per say but the added weight has taken away alot from him and made him not as elusive and easier to hit. His defense can be broken.
Floyd (though a former 130-135 fighter) has grown into a welterweight body and has taken the reflexes, speed and agility with him all the way up to 157 (where he fought Oscar).
Its not a matter of floyd being smarter in the ring, its a matter of floyd being smarter in negotiations. By making JMM come up to 143, he has guaranteed himself a decent payday against a "brilliant little man". Juan looked shaky at 135 and will look like a bloated ham @ 143 (its a catch weight fight) and will be easy pickings for floyd.
If May would of really wanted a challenge he would have met JMM @ 135 (or shane, clottey,or cotto @ 147), where i would still favor him, but see Marquez as a live underdog.
Im disgusted with the Mayweather camp, because by picking this fight they are turning one of this generations best fighter into a "tune up".
I am a little upset with Juan , because in his never ending quest to "one up" manny, he has agreed to ridiculous terms and is going to be slaughtered.
I know the lot of you are saying "size dont matter" because of what manny did to oscar and hatton. Well friends, Floyd isnt Oscar (who fought once a year for the last 7 years) and has more talent then ricky could ever dream of. Floyd will win.
But rest assured it has nothing to do with him having more ring smarts...its him exploiting Juans need and desire to be mentioned in the same light as Pac and Floyd.
Floyd is a safety first fighter and this fight gives him a huge payday against an amazing (yet tiny) fighter with a built in mexican fan base because god knows floyd cant sell tickets on his own.
And before you jump down my throat for that his fights against with Gatti, Oscar, and Hatton only did huge numbers because all of them were beloved fan favorites, proven ticket sellers and had HUGE fan bases.
LOL also the oscar fight was at 154, not 157 and Floyd weighted in 149 and never rehydrates. these details somehow didn't end up here. and we know why. haters.Comment

I disagree, Mayweather hasn't taken everything with him, as Mayweather moved up, he declined. There is a difference in how he looked at 140 to the way he has looked at 147. Mayweather was faster overall, more offensive minded. The mismatch isn't in the size but in the style, JMM is gonna get a Genero/ Gatti-Like beating. Alot of people I know aren't talking about the size, the size difference between the 2 isn't that big. Just enjoy, we're gonna see two of the most skilled boxers go at it. I just wish it were on free HBO, I don't think its PPV worthy.Comment
