So if they got it wrong, which is possible, but not yet proven, then you can't blame people for the fact that they believed a report yesterday from such a usually reliable source.

It's quite possible that Mark Vester is right, and that The Ring article is wrong, but until someone from Mayweather's camp is prepared to go on the record about it, I am keeping open minded about who is right and who is wrong.
