  • sugar man vs pac has a factor cotto vs pac doesnt have and that would be most likley it would be a surefire loss for pac, so yes cotto ppvs a little more but mosley is just on fire right now imo no way pac beats mosley, u-uh

All im saying is Pac vs Cotto is bigger than Cotto vs Mosley 2. Thats not even arguable.
You're looking at one fight in isolation, I'm saying what I think is better long term. Cotto-Mosley II creates a lineal champion and settles who's the best Welterweight. It would also be an exciting and intriguing fight, IMO, now that Mosley has returned to form. The winner vs. Mayweather for all the marbles is a much bigger fight than either of them fighting Mayweather while there's no undisputed champion. In the meantime, while Cotto is fighting Mosley, Mayweather-Pac is a mega-fight. That combination of fights, IMO is the best for boxing. Best still would be for the winner of all that to fight Williams.

i wouldnt count on mayrunner fighting any of those guys not even pac, given his history, that said pac vs any of those dudes imo would help boxing long term or short i agree it would be the ideal way of doing things the way your saying but more often than not that just doesnt happen tooo many factors involved like pending retirements ppv sales what fans actually want ,the majority not so much the purists

You haven't responded to the points he made. Just resorting to insulting and abusing people makes you look silly. If you can't be bothered to respond to the points he made, just ignore his posts.

brah, this is a blog/comment section. not a newspaper column to be published.

Is every post u make a fact?

Get off your high horse brah.
Let me ask you this was the Cotto fight with the cheater Margarito in a PPV? yes it was and Where was the Mosley/Margarito fight? On Free HBO! that is right Mosley can't draw **** and the only way he is on PPV is if big names like Cotto, De La Hoya etc fight with him. On the other side Cotto can headline a PPV with guys like Jennings and Judah and do pretty good.

Is not Mosley's fault because he is a great fighter and I like to watch him fight but he can't draw to save his life and is a joke to expect Mosley vs Paquiao American or not to draw more than Cotto/Pacquiao.

I am not the only one that knows that.

              Check this out

Mosley has two wins over both De La Hoya and Vargas. By all rights, he should be the king of Southern California boxing, a fighter who could sell out the Staples Center on the strength of his own name, but we all know that he'd have trouble filling up the Home Depot Center's tennis court arena. De La Hoya and Vargas have fan bases that dwarf Mosley's meager ticket-buying following.

I think it's pretty clear that Mayweather came out of retirement when he did to a large extent because he wants to fight Pac (and saw JMM as a tune-up for that fight); and I'm pretty sure he wants to fight either Cotto or Mosley as well -he's even hinted to Mosley that he wants to fight him but not yet (according to Mosley).

He can draw as long as his opponent is a big name. He can't draw on his own against nobodies, but against Pac or Cotto or Mayweather, he would draw, because everyone knows they'd all be great fights.

So your argument is since cotto headlines ppvs & mosley fought on free hbo which was highly rated & had the most fans in staple center arena in its history that pac vs cotto would out do pac vs mosley?

Julio Cesar Chavez jr. headlines ppvs. How many ppvs did cotto vs jennings do? & that was with kelly pavlik.

Mosley vs a established superstar = big ppvs.

I like miguel cotto. He's a star. Not a superstar. There are only 3 supertars (mainstream muscle) in boxing right now. Oscar, Fraud jr, & Pacquiao. The rest are just stars.

                      Im just saying brah.
