He sure as hell won't be getting the big fights besides a rematch with JMM. At least JMM has the balls to fight a WW at WW and he's not as adaptable weight-wise as Pac.

3 years ago, if you suggest this fight people would have straight up laughed at you. Why? Because it would have been ridiculous and it still is. They are not the same size. To make fights happen with such size discrepancy, you need a catchweight to level the field. The same reason Pac went up 2 weight divisions and jumped 12 pounds after he had one measly fight at 135. A fight people spat at when it was announced.
Pac fighting at 140 is a marvel. Pac fighting at 147 is flat out ridiculous.

Did Haye call out Wlad and then ask him to boil down to 200lb?
Asking fighters to fight below their natural weights is what's ridiculous. If you don't want to fight at Welterweight, don't fight Welterweights, it's really not rocket science.

Find that link yet?
To add, asking a fighter to fight a hell of a lot higher than their natural weight is dangerous. If you don't want to level the playing field, then don't call out fighters smaller than you.Last edited by m00ks; 05-20-2009, 02:22 PM.
