don't know which is worse. probably more floydhaters than oscarhaters though.

i remember everyone was calling it a circus show even boxing writers and analysts.
I do remember the circus, but ever since floyd came back the forums been blowing up, not a good thing in my opinion cause things were more about discussion then nonsense before and now it's back to haters and nuthugers in every post.

If JMM wants to risk his health and career for a career payday, that's his choice. If JMM is a tuneup for bigger fights like Pac, fine. Just don't act like the fight means anything at 147. And I don't see how it could possibly be a tougher fight than even the old, inactive version of DLH that Floyd fought. In fact, I don't see how it could be the slightest bit competitive at WW, at all.

The man agreed to whatever was in the contract. So there really isn't anything to ***** about.

People really think Marquez and his people didnt know where the fight would be? , They negotiated for a long time trust me he knows. What Promotion says publicly and private are not the same. Stop being slow people.

It's true this might not have anything to do with ww division, but in my opinion we've got the former #1p4p and the #2p4p fighting for the right to take on the #1p4p. This will be a fight between the 2 most skilled boxers in the sport and i dont think it'll be an easy night. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who's right about this one.

I guess may the best man win. But in Floyd's own words "a great big man beats a good small many every time." And he was referring specifically to this matchup. I believe Floyd is a greater fighter than Marquez, I just don't see why he needs extra advantages in the fight.

                      jmm risks:

                      1) the rubbermatch with pac (if jmm loses bad which is likely, he won't get it)
                      2) health (there's a possibilty floyd beats him so bad he's not the same)
                      3) career (no shame in losing to floyd, but jmm will be forced to fight B-level fights)

                      floyd risks:

                      1) public embarassment (if floyd can't KO jmm under 6-8 rounds)
                      2) negotiation leverage (if floyd/jmm doesn't do good numbers)
                      3) criticism (for fighting a smaller guy in a mismatch)

notice how jmm's risks are "do or die" and floyd's risks are "meh... /shrug"
