168 is a bad weight for Williams, but he'd still probably beat everyone there just because the competition there is so bad. At least for now, until Ward and Dirrell finish developing.

P-Will has the right attitude and confidence is on his favor right now, it's good to see him calling out everyone at the SMW division. He is desperate to get more recognition and I hope he gets it soon. I would love to see him against Froch, that should be an interesting fight right now.

Williams should wait at least a couple of years before fighting at 168. Instead he should focus on cleaning up the LMW's. Doing it now would spell disaster as I feel pwill will be KO'ed by all of those guys. Weight is the difference.

I still want to see Williams against a big puncher like Abraham.

Maybe your boyfriend Phoney Margarita should call him out and invite him to Tijuas where they can fight. This time Tony wont get caught wearing those bricks like he did against Cotto. I will say this, had phoney margarita been wearing the plaster bricks against Williams, he would have beat williams and knocked him out. Still your boyfriend was afraid of the rematch. Don't worry, the same way Mosley exposed Phoney Margarita, will be the same way Cotto whipes the floor with Phoney Margarita, coming soon son, coming real soon.

How many of you would have a problem with Carl Froch, Andre Ward,Jermain Taylor, or Mikkel Kessler fighting Paul Williams at supermiddle weight even though he just called them out?
I sort of feel bad for Paul Williams. He's a good fighter, but he just doesn't have that extra something that puts fighters over the top and brings in crowds. He got passed Winky Wright, but you could hear crickets in the crowd which is a big sign for matchmakers on how much that fighter brings to the table.

On the competitive side I think he's going to do fine. The business side is what makes me believe he won't get any big marquee match ups for quite sometime considering both Pavlik and Abraham have a tentative match-up in the Fall.

I voted no, i'd rather see Paul fight at Light Middleweight/Middleweight. Maybe even Welterweight if he can make it that easilly. I think the guys would start getting too tough for him at Super Middleweight, though i certainly think he could take it to some of those guys, like Froch.

Whuddup Horus? Good to see you back my man. In my mind Williams style is enough to give anyone trouble from WW to SMW maybe even LHW. he has a big frame and if he can carry his speed and stamina at higher weight classes like he has shown at MW then the sky is the limit. now I know I have posted before against P Will but that was at WW because to me after a while the BIGGER MAN calling out these SMALLER WW seems like a bully crying over spilled milk when no one steps up to the challenge. Nuff said about that cause P Will at MW and SMW gets me excited. Seeing him in there with JT would be a good test for him. he already blitzed Winky (granted an older version) but he beat him rather easily. his punch output is hard to deal with even for a defensive minded fighter like Winky. So to me all we have to find out is if P Will can take a punch at that weight from a decent puncher. To me Winky has no pop in his punches.

Jermain Taylor -Seeing him in there against JT who has decent power and skills would be a good test. JT would have his hands full since we all know he has stamina issues as we have seen in most of his big fights. P Will does not wilt in later rounds he keeps up his crazed pace throwing punches like a mental patient from all angles. Honestly I do not think this is a good fight for JT to take. At this point he needs a confidence booster type match up and P Will might take his heart for good if he still even has one?

Carl Froch - In my book would be perfect prototype for P Will to fight in his first match up. he has decent power so we might have our questions answered about the Punisher's chin at SMW but he is very slow and telegraphs all his punches. JT was handling him with ease until his tank emptied out and he got his cabbage knocked in. Williams throwing multiple punch combinations and sticking that long snapping jab in Froch's eye all night might bring an early end to the competition. I even see Williams traveling to the UK to take his titles back to America with him. I see this as being easily done and Froch might be one to take the challenge.

Mikkel Kessler - Honestly the only fight I have seen Kessler in was against Joe Calzaghe. Seeing that he fights all of his fights out of the USA I don't get to see much of him. I hear how good he is and he gave JC one hell of a fight but I don't know enough about him to make comments here. Honestly don't think Mikkel would take the fight. he definitely wouldn't be the first to take the plunge.

Andre Ward - Although I complained and moaned about his victory well really the way he got his victory against Edison Miranda I am going to be the first to admit I was making biased comments. I was pulling for Miranda and first reaction was to complain about the tactics used. I rewatched the fight and realized that he just out bullied the bully. He did what was needed to do to win. With that being said I think he would take the plunge and he might have what it takes to beat P Will. He was throwing all different types of styles at Miranda and getting off quickly and then rushing in to smother Miranda's punches. This tactic may work against Williams. By no means am I saying it is going to be as easy but P will is still young by most means and hasn't really been challenged that way. He might get frustrated and we could see a Quintana performance again. To me Ward vs. Williams might just be the fight we would see if he decides to make that jump.

                  WILD CARD BONUS

Chad Dawson - There is really no one left to fight at LHW for him. Dawson has expressed the possibility of this happening before. If Chad decides to jump in at 168 and try to get a big fight I wouldn't mind seeing Dawson and Williams throw down. Chad doesn't have great power but he has quick hands and uses many combinations. The two south paws clashing in the ring would make for a great fight in my mind. Dawson mixes in head and body shots and throws punches in bunches. Williams throws an onslaught of various punches has that stiff snapping jab and he can hit you from the dressing room with those long arms. This fight interests me more than any of the other I mentioned.....Lefty

Williams needs to have a few more at Welter. It's obvious he still wants to go back there for a big fight. I mean coming in at 157 for a middleweight context nowadays is bizare considering his size. 10 more pounds and he's back with the WW again.... who will duck him as well no doubt.
