I agree, I'd like to see that match-up(Hatton vs Juan Diaz).

David Diaz is one tough cookie. Marquez would have a tough time with him.

Remember David Diaz knocked out Jose Armando Santa Cruz who in turn was robbed of a championship belt by Joel Casamayor (HBO scored it 118-109 for Santa Cruz; Casamayor was booed by fans), who in turn gave Marquez a close fight before getting KO'd in the stretch.

Yeah, i pretty much go with this. Diaz would close him down real nice for a little bit, once he gets hit, fight is done.

Marquez got hit with junk by Diaz while he was on the rope and Diaz's punches rocked him at times. FACT.. Yes Marquez adjusted like a top fighter should but again, Juan Diaz? Seriously Campbell the veteran gave Diaz all he can handle what more a top fighter like Marquez. Marquez was suppose to win.

if he goes toe to toe with pac, it would be a one minute ppv. but if he turtles up like david diaz, it would be a bit longer

Before the Hatton fight I might have said that Diaz would have won, but now I'm not necessarily sure. I doubt that it'd have been a one-sided blowout, but I could see it ending in a Pacquiao TKO or something. It's too bad that Arum threw Pacquiao in with David Diaz though because talk about a punching bag.
