Pacquiao would have knocked out Juan Diaz in brutal fashion just like JMM did. However Diaz is a tough cookie, and has good defense, so he would give Pacquiao problems in the first few rounds before Pacquiao would knock him out in around the 6th.

It would be a tougher fight for PAcquiao, way tougher than David Diaz. We're talking about a volume puncher here, who like to bull you by putting pressure on his flurries. I think Pacquiao wins though, but not that easily.

Imagine Ricky Hatton, now imagine him a bit smaller but actually throwing punches on his way in with his hands up to defend his face.

Diaz Gets KTFO within 6 rounds. Pacquiao hits way way harder than JMM and Cuts people with punches.

I say Pacquiao cuts DIaz in the 4th and finish him in the 5th.

Bad style match uo fo Diaz, Big Punchers usually eat alive volume punchers

David Diaz is a better fighter than Hatton.

Well, i know what you mean. He lasted longer against Paquiao so I understand why you would say that, but, I think Hatton eats up Diaz for dinner. Styles make fights, David Diaz is a stationary object and will be there all night to get hit and mauled unlike Pacquiao.

100% agree and to add to that Pac doesnt get tossed into the corner or ropes like Marquez did, Pac hits and then moves. Marquez stood there at times trying to exchange.

Yikes. I meant to say Juan Diaz is a better fighter than Hatton.

Styles make fight man. Marquez could have ot on his bike, but what for? he is a counterpuncher, and was doing great work off the ropes. He did get the job done didn't he?

Pacquiao would have won but it would have been a tough fight because it would have been his first fight above 130 pounds against a guy who has good speed, good footwork, uses his weight, Diaz would have given Pacquiao all he could handle for a few rounds IMO.
