Nah he's cool...Just a little out of touch with reality...He is a big time Margarito fan...Imagine if your favorite boxer turned out to be a Cowardly Cheater...and became the laughing stock of the entire boxing community?
You have to remember this happened basically over night...He went from #1 king of the WW's to a joke and a embarrassment to all boxing fans...That's rough.
You would have a pretty hard decision to make....Either disown him as fan and get grief for leaving your boxer when he needed you most... as the majority of AM fans have done.
Or you can stick with him through all the embarrassing revelations and be the butt of many jokes...Remember not only did Margarito embarrasses himself...but all his fans the die hards ..Like Shalafi got hit the worst.
Mexico as a whole was put in a bad light by Margarito...For this dude to still be ridding for him shows incredible character...I salute him.
His fighter turned out to be a scumbag coward cheating piece of **** that didn't give a **** about the sport of boxing, His die hard fans or his own country... Only His next pay day...To stick with somebody through all that you have to be a TRUE FAN OF THE GUY...not of boxing.

Cotto did quit.... but his haters make out he quit as soon as things got rough when the reality is he was forced to quit. Margarito was on him all night constantly hitting him and making him work every round. Cotto continued fighting till he literally couldn't fight no more.
Cotto has got my respect, he is tough and has got heart.
I hope he puts on a great fight against Clottey.
it was simply stated that Cotto Quit.
whatever way you choose to read into that is your own mistake.
Cotto Quit. i dont care if he quit b/c the stars werent perfectly aligned. it doesnt matter. what does is that he quitComment

I watched that fight over and over. I still couldnt fathom how margarito took his beating for the first 6 rounds. Cotto could have thrown away his career by being mas macho that night. He gave it his best and I still put my money onhim against anyone accept Money mayweather. No need to hold his head down.Comment

For those who say he lost his stamina of course he did
When you have blood going down your throat from a broken nose of course you cant breathe and if you cant breathe you loose your stamina. Is not as if he did not train properly. Regardless of wether plasterito marga'cheato was cheating which I do belive he was.Comment

Watch round 2 and tell me if Margarito didn't "buzz" him, all you Cotto huggers are nuts man, if the so called holy "plaster" theory is correct then why was Cotto hurt by a well placed body shot to the liver in round two and a busted nose and lip after round 2? I thought it took about 5-6 rounds for the holy "plaster" to get nice and hard? oh let me guess, this was some new bio-chemical holy plaster specially concocted by the master artisan of holy "plaster" Javier Capetillo M.D. in order to mutate and speed up the hardening process to end the fight early...gimme a ****in' break.
Also (IMO anyhow) the course of the fight seems to lend credence to the plaster theory. Cotto wasn't really taking any kind of a sustained beating and then all of a sudden he wilted and his face was a swollen mess. I didn't see the kind of sustained damage that would normally do that.Comment
