Cotto conceded defeat...I agree...He fought bravely and honorably but was out matched that night by a possibly enhanced fighter...

He made the right decision there was to be no victory that not for Miguel...He was beating the **** out of Margarito for the first 6 rounds and Margs just smiled.

Either Margs was to confident because he had some Cement Pinata's on his fist...or Cotto just didn't have his usual punch that night.

That being said go back and look at the post fight pictures of the end of the Mosley fight...and the Cotto fight...

He's cleary much worse for ware in the Cotto fight with both eyes swollen and looking chinese.

This leads me to believe that Margs had a mental edge over Cotto...

Be it that he knew he had the edge because he had something in his gloves that would help him late...or he was just not going to lose on this night no matter what...and Cotto may have felt that.

At the end of the day Cotto quit...Big deal...Try to make it into a bad thing...call him Quitto if it makes you feel like a champion.

All Quitters to some of you...Warriors to me.
      Izreal Vazquez
      Antonio Margarito (Coward)
      Roberto Duran
      Vitali Klitchko
      koysta
      De La

I know theres a lot more boxers that can be added to the list of so called "quitters" Add on if you like.

Cotto did quit.... but his haters make out he quit as soon as things got rough when the reality is he was forced to quit. Margarito was on him all night constantly hitting him and making him work every round. Cotto continued fighting till he literally couldn't fight no more.

Cotto has got my respect, he is tough and has got heart.

I hope he puts on a great fight against Clottey.

All fighters will quit under the right circumstances. Are people gonna try and tell me Floyd is tougher and has more heart than Morales because Morales quit?

              cotto did not quit.

plain and simple. he took what were more than likely plaster covered fists for 11 rounds until his body couldn't take it anymore.

i assume those of you who consider him a quitter feel you would have or could have done better/different?

i understand if you're favorite fighter is "scared" of cotto or is considered to have ducked him then you might not be a big fan of his. but to call a warrior like miguel cotto a quitter or "quitto" is not only disrespect to one of the current best in our sport but boxing as a whole.

i know its the internet and its cool to say whatever is on your mind and be an ******* but have some respect for men who get punched in the face as a profession please.

i would expect this type of childish **** on 4chan not on a boxing forum.

are you deluded? prove that margarito cheated against cotto. i didnt think you could. COTTO IS A QUITTER. I like the guy but its a fact mate, you need to get off his ****. you dont walk backwards to your corner and then take a knee like a *****. that is what a quitter does, Quit.

Mayweather likely has fans that think that.
