    .

Actually it's about 50-50 considering that JMM is the Number 1 rated fighter out of Mexico and you know Mexicans are gonna support him. I bet you 90% of the people that attend the LA stop in their press tour will be Mexican.

DLH-Hopkins did 910,000 buys and DLH was guaranteed $25 mil and I think ended up making $30 mil while Hopkins took home something like $11.5 mil. That was actually a Top Rank fight, but theres something about the Golden Boy model where they make fighters "partners" and "co-promoters" that allows them to make more money than they otherwise would.

His numbers also didnt include PPV from other Countries. I also think his numbers are off. I dont think the cable companies get 40%. I was listening to Lampley talk before the Hatton-Pac fight on a radio interview and he was talking about how there was an article saying that HBO is hyping up the fight but it will probably only get a million buys and HBO will be down about it. Lampley said, are you crazy. He said in this Economy if it does 600,000 or 650,000 then they will be thrilled and that was after that had already guranteed Pac & Hatton the 20 or 21mil. Its not all about PPV's. People act like its the only way you make money. What about the fights that are on regular HBO? They get paid millions for that too. Winky vs Williams & Taylor made solid amout of money and they didnt have a PPV. PPV doesnt dictate all the money that the fighters receive. Thats why they add it to the pay. Its always a bonus. They say you get this amount guaranteed plus an upside on the PPV. Its not all the money

Exactly people forget all the money that gets poured in by sponsers and HBO just for being able to carry/advertise the fight.

Exactly, and JMM is considered the man at 135. Look how much Pavlik's stock has dropped since the Hopkins loss, and he wasn't even KO'd (like JMM will likely be.)

4 mill, let's hope he's not eating through a straw afterward.

Hopefully JMM gets his paper stacked high. This Mr boat buyer fight is crazy.

So you actually think out of 22 million dollar net revenue the fighters get 19?

                I am floored.

You quibble but don't read the content.

They can't do 500k and Floyd get 15 million.

                It's not statistically possible.

The ppv for Hatton-Pac was dependent on overseas money unlike this one.

If you can't see the point, and get caught in the minutiae of a number, than there's no explaining it to you.

I really think you are making a big deal out of a 1 inch height advantage and 4 pounds of natural body weight.

This fight is gonna be more competative than you think especially since JMM handspeed is very underrated by most people.
