Actually it's about 50-50 considering that JMM is the Number 1 rated fighter out of Mexico and you know Mexicans are gonna support him. I bet you 90% of the people that attend the LA stop in their press tour will be Mexican.

Hopkins vs De La Hoya did 1 000 000 buys and Hopkins was only guaranteed 10 million before the PPV revenue was split. I doubt this fight does more than 650K buys so I see no way PBF makes 15 million. The numbers just don't add up.

DLH-Hopkins did 910,000 buys and DLH was guaranteed $25 mil and I think ended up making $30 mil while Hopkins took home something like $11.5 mil. That was actually a Top Rank fight, but theres something about the Golden Boy model where they make fighters "partners" and "co-promoters" that allows them to make more money than they otherwise would.

I dont get what that really proves. He was talking about 30mil and were talking about 19. His point is more closer to mine than yours. His point was that if Floyd was getting 15 then there is no way that JMM is getting 15 and he's not. He's only getting 4. His numbers were based on 750,000 and mine were based on just under 600,000. His numbers also didnt include PPV from other Countries. I also think his numbers are off. I dont think the cable companies get 40%. Exactly people forget all the money that gets poured in by sponsers and HBO just for being able to carry/advertise the fight.

Exactly, and JMM is considered the man at 135. Look how much Pavlik's stock has dropped since the Hopkins loss, and he wasn't even KO'd (like JMM will likely be.)

So you actually think out of 22 million dollar net revenue the fighters get 19?

I really think you are making a big deal out of a 1 inch height advantage and 4 pounds of natural body weight.

This fight is gonna be more competative than you think especially since JMM handspeed is very underrated by most people.
