Why is 15mil so much to you guys? You think its that big of a deal for Floyd to get guaranteed 15 and JMM 4? Thats only 19mil. I think 15 is just so shocking to you guys because most of the time if one guy is getting 15 then the other guy is getting atleast 10 but JMM is only getting 4 so 15 is not that shocking. Didnt like Pac get 12 or 13 and Hatton got 8 guaranteed? Thats 20 or 21 and this is 19. That sounds about right, e****ally when you consider that Pac & Hatton will also get paid more in the PPV buys. I think the numbers are pretty reasonable to me

There are so many people to pay and a lot of revenue to generate.
But like I say, they will promote the **** out of this fight.

WTF!?! You're fu(kin' ******ed. You're the one who said it'd be "lucky to do 500k PPV."

I NEVER said it'd do 800,000. I said "Golden Boy must think it'll do something like 700,000 - 800,000 buys because $15 mil is a lot of money to guarantee."

Ask anyone who knows about guaranteed purses. If you guarantee $15 mil you must be expecting well over 500,000 and probably close to 1 mil buys if you're going to guarantee that many buys. That's not backpedaling at all. You're just ******ed and have no reading comprehension skills.

I think it's pretty simple for Craig McEwan - either he ups his conditioning and commitment or he has gone as far as he can in this game....As for Adrian Broner, I see more sizzle than steak....OK, the Lakers definitely got 'Pacquiao'd' by the Rockets in Game 4. The only thing missing was them laying down on the 'Rock Star' logo for about 10 minutes. But then, they laid down all of Sunday afternoon though....Seriously, the Lakers, right now, just don't have that look of a championship squad.....I was told that Floyd Mayweather is getting paid $15 million for his bout against Juan Manuel Midget in July. Forget about all the debate about his standing as a fighter in the game as a fighter, I'm beginning to believe he's by far the greatest manager I've ever seen....Hey, was it Mothers Day or something this weekend? I swore I must've forgotten something important....RIP to Chuck Daly....."

HAHAHAHA...You must believe it would do those numbers than otherwise you wouldn't be willing to bet it do more than 500k RIGHT? Ya and Arum thought Pac-Hatton would do 2 million PPV buys just cuz GBP thinks this will do 700-800 doesn't mean that is what it will do.

By time the PPV numbers are in Floyd will probably get like 17.5 and JMM will get 5 where I could see Pac getting like 18 and Hatton 12. That means the Pac-Hatton fight brought in 30 for the fighters and the Floyd-JMM brought in 22.5 with just Floyd getting most of it since JMM has only made scraps in his career. It sounds reasonable to me, NO? They probably feel that as long as they can do 500,000 then they can cover it and anything else is icing. They probably see it as a Max fight of 600,000 and would be splendid if it did anything over. As long as they get 500,000 then I think they could cover the guaranteed money

ok, fair enough. but mayweather also said he got paid $20 million for his stint with the WWE.

i don't really care what any fighter gets paid. that's not why i watch boxing. if he is making that much by fighting marquez than more power to him. i still find it hard to believe, but i don't care one way or the other.

How much do they expect from the gate? If the gate does $8-10 mil and they make $25-30 mil on PPV that's between $33-40 mil in money to split. They can give Lil' Floyd $15 miland possibly even up to $20 mil and not lose money, but it's just A LOT of money to guarantee a fighter.

JJM always gets the smaller purse. I wish for once he was the 'attraction'. He deserves the biggest purse of them all.
jmm's biggest purse to date, but he got gypped considering he's taking all the risk in this fight.

You don't do 500k and pay a guy 15 million. It has to do a million if he's guaranteed 15 million.
