Are Hopkins' best (Trinidad and Echols) better than Calzaghe's best (Kessler and Eubank)? Possibly. You can argue it either way.

Where Hopkins stands out for me is his jumping up two divisions to wipe out Tarver. Plus big name wins against Wright and Moby, even if both had no business being up at LHW ... just how fat was Winky at 170?! However Calzaghe stepping up to 175 and beating a still #1 ranked Hopkins and a lively enough Jones are still decent achievements even if the latter would have been quite something 10 years earlier.
Stop doing drugs calzaghe fans. Seriously ? Lively? Enough? No one is seriously buying this ball licking bull**** are they?

Beating Roy Jones was an accomplishment at that point?

True. That's why no one takes a shameless UK **** sucker like you seriously. I'm surprised you haven't killed yourself after Hatton got bounced around the ring like he did.

You sure you're not in some sort of depressive suicidal funk?

You won't find an American who recognises that win for what it is - a very good win and a very good name on his resume. It was replayed on Sky a few months ago - thought the stoppage was legit as he looked out after just being floored.

The Reid fight was also replayed - reinforced my opinion that whoever scored it for Reid needs to take the blinkers off. A pretty ugly fight in truth but the one handed Calzaghe clearly took the W.

dear god i actually agree with you - i gotta say beating a shot RJJ was done for the money as a career high payday by joe.

personally i dont rank it in the same league as his major wins over kess, eubank and hopkins

                More boring nationalism. Seriously?

It was an okay win. Good but not great. Personally i think branko sobot was more of a challnege. LOL

Thank you for that dose of reality. good God.

I wouldn't put Eubank up there either. He was pretty done in my opinion. So I'll leave your statement as Kessler and Hopkins.
