bottom line is, you're wrong. both fighters need each other, because they won't be able to make the kind of money they'd make together, by fighting any other fighter. manny can get other fights, sure, but he wont be making the $$$ he'd make fighting against mayweather....

you idiots wanna keep screaming, manny's p4p this and that.....but that has nothing to do with it. mayweather will be able to get money fights, aside from pacquiao, and make more money than pacquiao at the same time, so i find the notion that "mayweather needs pacquaio," completely laughable.

case in point - mayweather is making how much fighting marquez????

how much did pacquiao make fighting marquez??? and don't forget, this is mayweather's first fight, after being gone for two years.....
i cant get over kobe gettin the 2 piece combo from chris childs like that, i was watching that game and it still makes me laugh. ****ing chris childs of all people.

You obviously look at boxing from a business point of view.

I'm talking about legacies here. I don't care how much money a fighter gets for a fight.

floyd's payday seems awfully high considering the probable buys for this fight.

        $15 million right?

maybe it's a GBP down payment for future fights floyd might do under the gbp banner?

also, pac will lose the same luster floyd lost if he knocks JMM out, something pac couldnt do in 2 fights and 4 knockdowns later.

Well it is only our opinions. I just don't think Bob is the monster that people make him out to be. As Pink said. Bob knows his job well. He has created a lot of superstars in the last 40 years. Some have left him, but it was only after bob made them superstars by getting them the right fights.

Bob will deal freely with Golden Boy. He won't deal with what he once called blood suckers.

that'll only hype up the fight even more.

pac did better against hatton and oscar than floyd.

floyd did better against jmm than pac.

                hbo will run a marathon of pac-jmm , floyd-jmm , floyd-hatton , pac-hatton , pac-odlh , floyd-odlh fights.

the fight would be crazy in terms of hype.

Floyd needs this fight more than Manny. Its a shame when the best name on the self proclaimed "best to ever lace em up", is a 35yr old light weight (Marquez).
