You may say floyd over valued his worth but in the end he got the money and the fame he wanted that he wasnt going to get under arum. Not to mention, Arum wouldnt even let his other money fighters near mayweather until he left, when he posed that dubious 8million offer to margarito/mayweather. Even then to THIS DAY arum has never served up cotto, i dont care about the talk or heresay, not one single offer.

Floyd was easily the best fighter at top rank, and also arums top fighter for years and he was basically put on the backburner promotion wise and i think he just got tired of it.

Also, i think floyd doesnt have this huge over value like you say, he was reasonable with hatton, he was reasonable with de la hoya with the first fight and he was reasonable with golden boy and Jmm, i seriously think you are putting too much stock in what he says and not enough into what he actually does.
How can he control his own destiny when he has to still deal with other promoters to get a fight? That is being short sighted. He left Bob for multiple reasons. Money was one of them, but also because he did not like the opponents Bob had lined up for him. Bad blood brewed between them because Arum and him had friction on multiple areas. Bob says Floyd wanted to cheery pick. Floyd says Bob did not pay him enough.

Not every fight can be a mega fight. Remember why Floyd retired. He retired because nobody wanted to pay him. It will happen again unless he comes back down to earth. 15 million+ to fight JMM? I guarantee you that Oscar is only paying Floyd that much in the hope that JMM wins and becomes a PPV fighter himself. They are not going to make a lot of money from that fight. They consider this fight an investment only.

Floyd won't get past Marquez. I can't believe he's talking about Pac.

Soooo, Floyd has been ducking Pac for the past three years? Floyd bought out hus Arum contract in 2006 because he knew that he'd have to face Pac in fall of 2009 or Winter 2010?

Yup I was going to mention that.........

The two biggest fights for Floyd are Manny and Cotto and theyre promoted by the ONE guy Floyd wont work with...Arum.

I dont expect Floyd to work with Arum.

I dont expect Cotto and Manny to leave Arum.

Means these fights wont happen unless Arum is out the pictire.

Mayweather will have to make sacrifices. Pac is P4P No. 1. He can face all the top contenders and get more money and a lot of credit for his wins. Floyd needs Manny, fact. Mayweather can forget about getting the lions share in this one, he can probably get 50/50 at best. Knowing Bob Arum he would make Mayweather settle for 55/45 in Pac's favour.
Pac doesn't need him, he can face Valero or Cotto or whoever he wants. Floyd will have to fight a real Welterweight like Mosley or Cotto or someone, which he does not want to do.

the story is bob doesn't want to deal with haymon nor don king (floyd was gonna sign with don upon returning)

from what i read that's why gbp will be involved for floyd's side in floyd-pac.

i read the article a while back before all the hype and bs started coming out from both camps so i trust it more than the rest.

i believe floyd-pac will happen either next or maybe 1 more fight before.
