BHOP is probably more well known but not by PPV buyers.
The PPVs Hopkins has sold tell a different story.

that's a term fabricated by EA Sports for their "Fight Night" series.

      thank you, come again.
A parry is a real defensive menuver, although it was sure overblown in fight night. It is when you use a punch to block a punch kind of (well you throw your arm out to keep the punch from fulling reaching you).

Exclude the dlh fight and then please elaborate. Cotto sells out msg as the headliner. Where would bhop sell out as a headliner?

I would go see any bhop fight, but he is well known for being second fiddle in hisbig fights whereas Cotto is known to bring the butts to the seats as headliner

A big event, I really don't know what a mega event is anymore.

                I think it's a huge event, better than Pac-Hatton.

Cotto vs. Pacquiao could be in my opinion the biggest boxing match below the Heaviweight Division in this decade and probably in the last 20 years. The thing is you know the fight will live up to expectations and probably be even better.

He fought on even terms with Mosley, and did somthing odd which many of you considered to be defensive, but lets be hones, he RAN during the last few rounds against Mosley plain and simple, There was no slipping and sliding, countering and shoulderolling, he also tried to run against Margarito, but he would have no part of it.
Do you actually believe that? You're a good poster, but you have to be kidding.

Watch that fight again. Seriously, it's like if Cotto isn't pressuring it automatically means he's running. Watch rounds 9,10, and 11 again and tell me he's running. For god sakes, you can make the case that he won those rounds(he definitely won the 11th).

He was jabbing and moving, and every once in a while letting his hands go. He knew he had built up a lead, and had realized that Shane wasn't getting stopped. So he got on his backfoot and started boxing defensively.

People just refuse to give him credit for that fight. It's always "oh he got hurt in the end" or "he wore out cause of his stamina problems". No, he knew he had a big lead, so in the final rounds he stopped pressuring and employed a safer strategy. He was still fighting, your acting as if it was like what Oscar did against Tito. Cotto was landing good punches frequently in all those rounds.

In all honesty I always have liked Cotto, and I have shown my support for him on NSB many times, but IMO (you do not have to agree) I think that fight was very close and scored it a tie, but I honestly believe Cotto was backpeddling not because he had a lead before entering the championship rounds, which he did, but rather due to the pressure getting to him. He was fighting back and in some circumstances winning exchanges, but I just did not see the defensive masterpiece people were talking about. I personally had that fight 6-6.
