Unless you meant something different, I assumed you felt Floyd's style would not sell. The numbers he puts up say otherwise and Arum is full of **** if he doesn't think Mayweather will generate PPV buys against Pacquiao. That's an excuse that Arum likes to use when he wants to protect his fighters from losing. He used it with Paul Williams and Margarito, Delahoya/Winky Wright-Vernon Forrest.......

you're not understanding the content of the thread. if floyd fights a boring, technical fight, casual fans will not be interested in seeing fight against Pacquiao.

You want to talk about numbers?

How many tuned in for DLH/Mayweather stateside? (Stateside because it was only offered stateside)

How many tuned in for Hatton/Mayweather stateside?

Subtract those 2 numbers and you will find the amount of people that were turned off by Floyd's preformance against DLH.

Delahoya/Mayweather and Hatton/Mayweather both put up huge numbers no matter what bull**** logic you try to spin it with. And the same will happen for Mayweather Pacquiao regardless how Mayweather wins his next fight. And I understand the context just fine.

mayweather has never bored with a smaller opponent, look at his fights at 135 and 140.....he only had to slow down his action against big guys like dlh and baldomir.....on top of that marquez has put on increasingly entertaining performances, it will be a good fight....
