First I will say, good ****. make FLoyd work for a big money fight. the guy retire after he got his big fights, and when the risk started comming he decided to retire. Now he sees a opportunity for a big fight, but Arum is smart and is making him work for it. I mean, he comes back and he wants to fight a mega fight right away. Well **** that earn the ****ing fight.

Now, Floyd will have to fight Mosley, period.

Second, Lol at the idiot from salud whatever, saying Cotto is another hatton. Cotto is a bigger version of JMM, with better timming more power, but not as good as a counterpuncher.

Cotto after 2 rounds will time mannys **** and will KHTFO in 7 or less.
A fight with FLoyd would be more competitive for Pacquiao do to styles, but Mr Boat buyer beats him anyways.

Don't forget that Cotto is a fast rising star that went to the top in short time, so obviously and of course Mayweather fought more fighters, but Cotto fought best goin up in scale, you cant judge the lack of names because Mayweather obviously fought like 10 more, BUT to get to the top who made it faster?

I give Cotto props for fighting Mosley and Margarito and now taking
on Clottey but at 147 what has he really accomplished? He hasn't
beat any fighter for a title. Floyd beat the least amount of fighters
and got the biggest achievement at 147. He became the Lineal champ,
Cotto still hasn't done that. Aside from Mosley and Margarito
Cotto's resume at 147 is not that much more impressive than floyd's.
They share Judah, Cotto has two gift wins on his resume, Gomez/Jennings.
He beat Ortay Urkal. Plus he lost to Antonio margarito, so the only thing
he has over Floyd is the fact that he fought and BEAT Shane Mosley.
Sharmba Mitchell is a better win than Ortay Urkal. Clottey will make the
difference. If Cotto beats Clottey CONVINCINGLY I will ease up on him
but I haven't seen anything that really impresses me about Cotto besides
his power/pressure but once neutralized the fight becomes hard for him.
He does have a decent jab but the lack of a solid defensive game plan
and that fact that he can't adjust very well leaves a lot of questions
unanswered.

Cottos timming is tops in the sport, better timmung than JMM for sure.

I don't dislike any fighter I just call it how I see it, observe
and read up and research facts. The only thing Cotto has over
Floyd at 147 is the Mosley win, competition wise. Floyd had
the division on smash before he retired and was the recognized
Welter. If Cotto beats Clottey on June 13th then I will say
Cotto widens his claim at fighting the best at 147 but if you
look at it like this, all the fighting Miguel Cotto is doing he still
hasn't beaten a fighter for a title and he still isn't recognize
as the best fighter at 147........Floyd was.

Yes I've seen those fights. But I have also seen the Margs fight; where he had NO plan B where was his adjusting abilities then? He surprised Mosley with the boxing but was still getting tagged late. Any boxing expert will tell you JMM has more boxing abilities (thinking, adjusting, and timing) than Cotto.

cotto has the power to knock manny out. but cotto has been hurt by fighters like corley and that lil colombian dude. if pac can avoid gettn ****** to the body he has a gud shot. but floyd would dominate both. offensively he's not always exciting but deffensively he's superb!
