I know for a couple of rounds but he isn't a pure boxer. He can box using his jab but that's it. He has to plant his feet when he throws punches and he isn't a pure boxer. He will not box more than he will pressure

He has out boxed pure boxers before, and he can cut off the ring just as good as anyone. Check out the Quintana fight and you'll see how he effectively cuts off the ring against a NATURAL welterweight southpaw ( pure boxer) who you could make a case for being a hard puncher than Pacquaio. Cotto is a better boxer than Manny is and with all due respect, i can not see how he could do anything to trouble Cotto.

He also out boxed Margarito using the ring effectively until those plaster bats wore him down.

Packing could be possibly true but Cotto was losing on the scorecards as well. It looked to be more of a stamina issue from trying to keep Margs off him then being actually hurt from a plaster punch.

Fact is; he's probably a good bull****er. He would have never sold half those tickets on his own and you know this. When you have foreign born fighter selling more tickets then you do in your own country, then you got problems.
Hatton and De la Hoya were responsible for more than half of tickets sold in both those fights. Don't come to me wit that oki doke **** and think it'll stick.

It wasnt really boxing. He was backing up and throwing punches to keep Margs off his Azz.. Something he was not used to doing. PART of the reason for the poor stamina in that fight.

No doubt. Manny looks human against boxers. They cant have him looking human, its bad for business.
