If you were a fighter and had someone seriously hurt, would you pull a Judah?

If I put those gloves on, I wouldn't stop throwing punches until my opponent was down on that canvas. I'd make sure they regretted signing that contract. But then again I like money alot. I couldn't fight my own blood though, or a close-friend. I don't know how taylor and lacy did it...Comment

But then Pac has no respect for his opponents then...true?
At least while in the fight.
Or is that a sign of respect by finishing off your opponent?
To let him go out on his shield. To let him die with honor.
If you don't knock him out, sparing him might be a sign of disrespect and then he has to go in shame and commit ritual suicide for the shame.

I remember reading an old Dempsey quote about the Jess Willard fight. Basically he said he mauled the **** out of Willard cause he was afraid the bigger man was going to kill him. So he made sure to do it to him first.
It probably depends on the situation. If you clearly outclass a guy then there's a higher level of consciousness/awareness and you might be inclined to not go all out. But if the other dude is giving you a fight, that mixture of fear, adrenaline, pain and all the other crazy **** will probably kick in your instincts to literally put him down.
All in all you don't play boxing like other sports. I wouldn't look to the ref for ****. Remember that moment from Gatti-Mayweather? Yea **** that noise.Comment

**** i meant to click the just go for a knockout
i dont see any reason to stop until the ref actually steps in, what good is it to look at the ref?
maybe if im really pummeling the guy and i feel the ref is bein ******, i'd look at him and say ''Do your job ****bag''Comment

Robinson is the only one I can think of offhand who didn't let it affect him in the ring, although it greatly changed his attitude regarding the sport and the compensation he felt he was entitled to.Comment

In my gym they make me spar one of my friends and I remember one time I busted his nose as soon as I saw the blood I wanted to stop but my trainer forced me to continue. I beat him for 2 more rounds. It was so hard to talk to him after and on the way home.Comment
