Remember when Zab had Spinks hurt bad and looked to the ref to stop the fight...would you have done the same thing if you were on Zab's end?

RJJ did that against someone, can't remember who. Yes, I'd do that, even though he is coming to hurt you, you ain't trying to seriously mess someone up

Didn't he do that in the Raul Martinez fight, though I don't know how hurt Martinez truly was but he was being outclassed and wouldn't have won that fight even if he could have lasted all 12 rounds and probably would have been brain damaged from the fight.

If the fighter looked very bad, I would have. It's hard to deal with the aftermath of a disaster in the ring. Ray Mancini is still dealing with such up to this point.

Many fighters in boxing history have looked to the ref to end things. Every fighter likes to think he's "cold" or "hard", but they can also come to a realization during a fight that they could actually kill their opponent. I don't think any fighter wants that.

Myself? I like to THINK I would go for the finish. But Im not the one in the ring and possibly determining a mans fate.

I can't think of any fighter who's had the same "killer" mentality after taking another fighters life. Emile Griffith didn't, neither did Mancini, Ruelas, Jesus Chavaz or any others I can think of off hand.
