No disrespect to Dawson, but "B-Hop" and afraid don't belong in the same sentence.

Yeah but Tarver's defense was acute. Dawson doesn't waste shots of gloves... But he could be more active, he fought like a 40 year old last night, in spurts. One of the 2 possibilities: He was was scared of Tarver's left hand; He has stamina problems and has to manage his energy like that. The problem is he's 26! 26 year olds shouldn't be fighting in spurts! It made me so angry last night seeing Chad playing defense with no offense or counter punching. If he fights like this the zaghe or anyone with a better punch output will outpoint him easily. I hope he understands he can't fight in spurts and be a star in this game, not when you're 26 FFS!

Then Hopkins needs to drop this 'Dawson ain't a big enough draw' excuse because 'Hopkins' and 'Big draw' don't belong in the same sentence.

So far, hopkins doesnt want it with dawson, he says 'I got bigger fish to fry', but he wanted it with Adamek who got schooled by dawson didnt he?

Again, it doesn't matter who 'schooled' who. B-Hop is even more of a mercenary than Calzaghe, and he wants one big payday or two before hanging up his gloves. Chad doesn't bring a big pay-day. Adamek currently is a bigger draw, particularly if B-Hop is willing to travel. The fact Adamek IS a bigger draw just outlines the problem Chad has got. If he can (and I have my doubts) the smart move would be dropping to SMW; that's where the fights are at the moment.

Chad is pretty respectful I do like the guy. I think with Joe that's his best and only chance, being like that. I think though with Hops he needs to apply some fighting talk like saying stop complaining of ppl avoiding you at the moment when I'm the obvious opponent most deserving, that your avoiding.

I see Hops as more likey. Calzaghe said recently AGAIN, that he's retired and not doing the lame temp retirement like some others. He said of Froch, if I ever came out of retirement which I won't, I'd still never face that loud mouth.

Hopkins most recently spoke of the fight as a possibility but saying Chad wanted 50/50. Chad denies this and said money's never been discussed. So as much as I like Hops, and don't think he's afraid afraid, his excuses aren't too great.

Johnson Chad, you gotta fight your most deserving rival by that standard.

Hopkins picks fighters who he sees flaws in, I think he sees trouble with a dawson fight, he's old and wants a legacy fight he can win, which is fine, but I aint gonna pretend hopkins wants to fight chad when he doesnt, chad been calling him out for ages now and hopkins doesnt want to know, its not just about draws, its because Adamek is an easier fight for him than dawson.

Okay this I agree with mostly,

                      1) From what I ive read, hopkins is willing to talk about fights with Froch and Adamek (before that collapsed) but not with Dawson, ive seen him say it himself that he wont be fighting chad, hopkins is smart, wants to go out with a legacy fight he can win, or joe calzaghe, calzaghe aint happening so its the first option

                      2) Hell yes, Dawson needs to get his ass in the ring with johnson again.
