My uncle was a huge fan of Eubank in the mid-90's. Personally, I couldn't stand him. But I always respected him. However, it's strange to me how so many who barely saw him in his prime seem to think he was some great or near ATG. No. Chris Eubank was a pretty good fighter in his prime. That's it.

lol Well I think it was his style. I was just getting into boxing then. I was stuck on Mike Tyson and Roy Jones (of course).

I dont remember Eubank being very popular in the states though.

Chris Eubank gets magnified because he was an opponent Jones supposedly ducked. Darius gets the same treatment as well as Benn.

This seems like the best post but most people will agree, Dawson is no great but so isn't Calzaghe. I think Chad is a B+ fighter in a C division, Calzaghe was for 10 years able to match it up with the big dogs and didn't. Who's fault is it? I don't want to go that way, the fact of the matter is he would prolly lose those fights considering the 40 year old versions of those great champions were still able to drop Zaghe in the first round. If you get dropped on the first round and you don't get finished, there's something wrong with your opponent, it has absolutely nothing to do with your heart. Ask Ricky Hatton and many others who fought prime great fighters and were dropped in the first round.

This is why I have A LOT of RESPECT for Hatton. He actually THOUGHT he was the best and wanted to prove it by coming to the states and fighting the # 1 P4P best. TWICE.

I hope he doesnt retire. He's a good fighter. Just not great.

lol I actually like Max Kellerman! I like how it seems he says stuff that HBO and the crew would dissagree on. I actually wish they would drop Lewis (The John Madden of boxing) and Larry. He's good just old. lol Crazy its seems at times... him and his crazy hair-do!

But Max Kellerman is like UFC's Joe Rogan..... says ****** stuff sometimes that makes you laugh but IMO is an asset to the sport!
